How long will the bellend last ?

Post by the truth »

Tbh can't see this being any different to Haye V Maccrinelli ( who was actually better than Bellend imo)

2 minutes of faints and circling with each flicking out a few jabs, last 60 seconds of the round Haye clips him, Bellew will then be fully aware of his situation and at some point during the second round he gets cornered, hit clean and taken out. Won't go 300 seconds is my guess

Can't see it going beyond 3 either and i've put my money on that too with a slight cover. Been building the pot since it was announced so not really sure how much i've got on but it's my biggest bet in years

Bellew is coming to run and pull off McKenzie masterclass part 2.

When someone is fighting negatively and fighting not to get knocked out, it's hard to knock them out.

Unlike 99% of boxing fans, I have this fight going the distance.

Can't see Haye carrying Bellew at all, think he's going to try to (and succeed) blast him out early. Will be surprised if Bellew sees the end of the second

All depends on what round Haye has lumped his money on!

Once Haye tags him he's done. Haye won't let him off the hook. Either the first round or the second. I'll honestly be surprised if it goes longer. The first round might end up being a case of both guys feinting and fanny farting so if Haye doesn't catch him then it'll be the second. I'm thinking of throwing a few quid at the first or second but can't decide which just yet.

It depends on what mood Haye is in.

If he opts to do what he did against Parcel Force Harrison, then my money would be on 3 rounds.

If he pounces on Bellow early, then it's all over in the first.

Either way, it's an early night, because Bellow is sturdy enough to stand up to a Haye onslaught.

I'm going for rounds 2 or 3 , don't think Haye will end it in 1 just because of the ppv situation

I can name quite a few fights that went the distance because a guy was in survival/running mode. Bellew vs Ovill is a good example. Not many had that going the distance. Haye vs Wlad was another that another that very few had going the distance. Look what Scott was able to do vs Ortiz when he came in with the intention of not getting KO'd. If you think Bellew isn't going to do anything other than run/hide and look to land counters then you're an idiot. He knows that Haye will counter him to death if he leads. Haye is poor when forced to create his own openings. He has a non existent jab

That's why I'm in two minds. I don't usually punt big. A tenner here and there mostly on a football coupon. I don't bet much on boxing because I'd rather just enjoy the fights but this doesn't appeal to me as a fight and it looks as much as sure thing as you're likely to get in the sport. It's pay week that week so I was thinking of sticking something around the 50/70 mark.

As you say though the return will still probably be paltry so feck knows lol. I usually find its the bets I think about too much that I lose!

There is no way Haye is carrying Bellew after the acrimony in the build up to this fight. He will want to make the point that Bellew has no place at HW.

Haye wins by fourth round KO after dropping Bellew 5 times; once at the end of the first, once in the second, twice in the third and once in the fourth. The ref counts to 7 and then waves it off.
