loma is now the best boxer on earth. he is like a 9,3. but prime jones is like a 9,7. he is like the closest thing to a perfect boxer.

so you asking who is the next boxer who will be 9,7 out of 10 and i can tell you 'right now there is nobody that exists and probably wont in the next 10 years.

RJJ was not a perfect boxer... A perfect boxer doesn't get floored by Lou Del Valle in his prime -- or knocked out by Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson

Roy's stance was too wide for starters.. and he'd get too low.. He was a little stiff through the shoulders so he caught a few.. He was a great athlete.

Best boxers were Salvador Sanchez, Gene Tunney, Willie Pep before his plane crash, Floyd Mayweather, and Vasyl Lomachenko... Don't sleep on Anthony Joshua. He'll be there in a few years among Heavyweights... More good ones were Jack Johnson, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, and Eder Jofre

Ray Leonard was always thinking, and a great boxer... but too easy to hit with right hands to be at the top... Ray Robinson was a great fighter more than a great boxer. He got nailed with both left hooks and right hands and didn't beat any exceptionally skilled boxers.

Had RJJ retired after winning the heavyweight title he would probably be considered one of the 5 greatest boxers of all time. But he didn't. So his legacy will always be tarnished by what happened after. The fact remains that in the 90s he was about as untouchable as I've ever seen in a boxing ring. He had it all. Speed. Power. Showmanship.

He was knocked down by Del Valle. So what? Ali was dropped by the Bayonne Bleeder. Anyone care?
