Short or Long Trunks?

Ive always preferred the look of the short shorts of yesteryear, if I was a boxer( ) i'd make sure my stylist made my shorts old school, I think its the sight of morbidly obese heavyweights cuddling it out rocking a pair of 3 qtr lengthers that has scarred me, I always thought Ricky Hatton looked a bit daft in the extra long shorts, I thought his style and physique was crying out for a pair of 70s/80s style trunks, ive seen some incredible lengths of shorts over the recent years almost like pyjamas

IMO it looks embarrassing , does anyone prefer the longer trunks and think the old style is a bit homoerotic like footballer shorts or do you like me, would like to see a revival of the old school short trunks??
