I have a vague memory of seeing this at the time, but didn't realise how cringey it actually was. Maybe I was pissed. I love how he's walking round in a really strange stance with his gloves down by his side through the streets, awkward!! Looks like a gorilla.

I have no problem with it. Nice idea...be interested if anybody else has done that - in the televised era.
Another good thing about the Wildcard is they take fighters to Big Bear, a place the UK cannot replicate.
You can usually tell when a fighter has trained at altitude in the later rounds. Mexico City fighters are synonymous for stamina.

It would make sense for Scott to join frank tbh - I think it’s very unlikely he will get the LSC v Mares winner anytime soon as he’s not with Haymon whether he’s mandatory or not unless they think he will be an easy defence.

Yeah no smoke without fire.
He was sat 2 rows behind allegedly at last weeks event in Newcastle. He appeared on the Talk Sport boxing show / podcast as a guest last week, the other guest was allegedly. He turns up tonight and ends up being a ringside pundit with Buncey and Paul Dempsey joking about him making a job application and BT Sport being the place to be.
With Frampton, Selby and Warrington all currently with Frank it makes sense for him to move. Plenty of money to be made if those 4 match up against one another over the next 24 months.
Quigg is a VERY hard working guy, always trying to improve himself as a boxer. He's willing to go to the ends of the Earth and - as I understand it - he still lives with his Mother and doesn't live a flashy, flamboyant lifestyle.
Unfortunately for him, he has a few major things going against him.
He has zero personality. He doesn't come across as charming, likeable or funny. And I think that he has a speech impediment - I used to have a bad stutter when I was a kid, but I got it sorted - Quigg definitely has something wrong with his speech. Which means, that sometimes his words sounds lazy and blurred and makes people stop wanting to listen to him.
Other British talent at the weight - the likes of Frampton, Selby & Warrington split the public's interest in that weight division. The Irish/ N Irish will always back Frampton, the Welsh will back Selby - and Quigg doesn't seem to be well known by the English.
The best thing that Scott can do is to win a World title and sit on it. If he can capture a Featherweight Championship and keep fighting at home, he could earn a tidy bit of coin for himself under Eddie Hearn. But let's face it - he's just not going to make the sort of dough that other guys have made.
