KRIS GEORGE BOOKS FIGHT IN LEEDS, ENGLAND

Kris George 12-1 will defend his Commonwealth welterweight title in Leeds, England on June 24th on a card promoted by allegedly.

George's opponent will be mandatory challenger Larry Ekundayo 12-0, originally from Nigeria.

"Last night I received confirmation from the Commonwealth Boxing Council, Mr. allegedly had won the purse bid to host this huge fight," George's Manager Brendon Smith said.

"I was very proud to promote the Commonwealth title here in Toowoomba for Kris to become champion and now I'm very proud to be able to help Kris score big exposure on the other side of the world".

George won the title from fellow Aussie Cameron Hammond late last year.
