Kennedy v Simmons British Title
Kennedy v Simmons British Title
Simmons replacing Askin in Cardiff on the 11th March
Who's everyone picking? See this as a pretty even fight, last time a saw Kennedy was against Joel Tambwe Djeko which I thought he narrowly lost! From what I heard in Simmons last fight he was unlucky not to get the decision

Fancy Kennedy to stop Simmons. Still a good fight though I'd have preferred the Askin bout.

I think this is as equally appealing as the Askin fight IF Simmons has been in training and is properly prepared.

Just saw this, pity. Good opportunity for Stephen and could have led to a good Scottish defense.

Probably too late to be for the British title but imagine Craig will get another opponent as they'be booked out the Motorpoint arena so will take a heavy loss just cancelling the showBoxerbeetle wrote:Ffs. Anyone else lined up?

I thought Tommy McCarthy would clear up and move on past domestic. Thought he looked different class against JLD. Was really shocked that Matty Askin beat him, especially in the manner he did. Either JLD was completely shot, making McCarthy look better than he is, or Askin has improved a lot.

I've always thought Askins was under-rated. He boxed well against McKenzie and lost a close one. McKenzie drew a world title fight shortly after.Bigdogsnose wrote:I thought Tommy McCarthy would clear up and move on past domestic. Thought he looked different class against JLD.
