Youre really going all out with the Fury sucks stuff these days. Last year you said you had Fury-Wilder 50/50.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Wilder would destroy fury.
I definitely think Fury could do better than someone like Artur Szpilka, who was totally routed by Jennings and dropped thrice by Mike Mollo. Hell, in my opinion even Washington was winning until the stoppage. Wilder has now had issues against several challengers, and none of them have been in the top ten.

Wilder looks terrible i think he can lose to someone like Takam. and his punching power? well yes he has a very strong punch but compared to what AJ did to Molina or Sovietkin (even if on peds) did to Duhaupas then its not so impressive.

The ideal cash out fight though surely?darkstar81 wrote:Keep Wilder away from AJ
If Joshua can come through Wlad then it sets it up for a big payday with Wilder. Why not make eight average fights earnings in one night against Joshua in a unification?

I think Wilder can keep the belt and make good money against the likes of Parker/Hughie Fury winner, Ortiz, Haye, Tyson if he comes back, maybe Stiverne again, potentially Whyte . I think he gets beat badly by AJ.lillywhite14 wrote:The ideal cash out fight though surely?darkstar81 wrote:Keep Wilder away from AJ

Exactly, I expect Wilder to lose against all of them except Stiverne and maybe Whyte.davie wrote:Do you think he wins those fights?darkstar81 wrote:I think Wilder can keep the belt and make good money against the likes of Parker/Hughie Fury winner, Ortiz, Haye, Tyson if he comes back, maybe Stiverne again, potentially Whyte . He could. Ortiz would be tough, Haye depends what shape he's in, I think he beats the others. He gets hurt badly by AJ - that's more where I was coming from.asdfjkl wrote:Exactly, I expect Wilder to lose against all of them except Stiverne and maybe Whyte.davie wrote:Do you think he wins those fights?darkstar81 wrote:

Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
Wilder was already scared for Hughie Fury on 8 weeks notice when Hughie was just 20 years old and that's why Wilder chickened out and fought Duhaupas instead 7,5 weeks later on 3 or 4 weeks notice?! Parker is too fast for Wilder, Ortiz too strong and too much chin, Daffy Duck is probably too fast as well and actually has (or used to have) the stamina for 12 rounds, unlike most of Wilder his other opponends. Tyson Fury is 2 inches taller and has a 2 inch reach advantage on Wilder as well, on top of that Tyson can easely fight 12 rounds, he's just as strong in the 12th as in the first round since he doesn't carry that much muscle. Whyte has a great chin and got KO power against a windmilling Wilder, so Wilder would only win that if Wilder uses his brain, which he usually doesn't. Only Stiverne is left, and Stiverne is indeed a complete nobody in heavyweight boxing, who had a crazy amount of luck in his carreer.darkstar81 wrote:He could. I'm not sure it's going all out that he sucks saying Joshua & wilder knock him out. He's just so easy to hit and perhaps his fanbase that think he's Mayweather has pushed me a bit to the extreme on the other side. He's got balls for days, I just don't see him taking their power.crusader wrote:Youre really going all out with the Fury sucks stuff these days. Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
Artur Szpilka was dropped three times by Mike Mollo, and totally outclassed then knocked out by light hitting Bryant Jennings, yet he was winning rounds and made it into the 9th against Wilder. Washington also very arguably deserved to be up 4-0 tonight, and I don't think he's on Fury's level.
No doubt Wilder can hurt and stop Fury, but Deontay's got plenty of flaws himself and I don't think he's ever shown that a KO win for him is pretty much a foregone conclusion; your previous 50/50 assessment was closer to the mark.
This is assuming that Fury actually came back and found his previous form though.

He certainly could bank some rounds before he gets flattened.while I very much enjoyed Tyson exposing the fraud, my opinion of him lowered in that fight.
Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
He'd be a step up from anyone Wilder's beaten, and it wouldn't at all surprise me if he lasted the extra rounds that people like Molina (knocked out twice in the first round), Szpilka, and punching bag Duhaupas didn't.
Obviously you thought the same fairly recently!

Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
I don't recall talking about fury/wilder recently. I'll take your word for it, I drink quite a bit. All I can do is state my opinion now. 80/20 wilder stops him, though I'd be surprised if we see Tyson anytime soon.
Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
Was I just too drunk or did Wilder throw virtually zero punches in most of those rounds?
Comments here are either Wilder is great or Wilder sucks.
My comment is this guy may have mad power but really can't fight.
He'll probably beat Breazille next and then lose every round to Joshua and then flatten with him 1 punch with both eyes shut closed. That would be pretty funny.

Wilder is a joke. Notice how he called out the weakest belt holder after the fight. He didn't call out the winner of Joshua-Klitschko but went after the lowest hanging fruit on the tree.
Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
The division is still a mess. Wilder can punch but swings like a windmill, Parker will give him problems and will probably beat him.
I'm not sold on AJ at all but he beats Wilder. Haye could get in the mix and beat them both if Hearn lets him in

Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
I don't know that he would beat him, but Joseph Parker has a way better resume than Joshua. I'm not sure it is accurate to say he is the weakest belt holder. And even if he is, I imagine it will help negotiations if each are bringing two belts to the table in a unification.Baby Face Finster wrote:Wilder is a joke. You don't think the winner of Joshua-Klitschko should be considered the #1 guy at heavyweight?jockpunk wrote:I don't know that he would beat him, but Joseph Parker has a way better resume than Joshua. Re: Wilder-Washington and Ugonoh-Breazeale
Tough to say only because I have no idea as to the status of Tyson Fury. Tough for me to call either of them the #1 guy when the guy who beat the guy is still sort of out there. But I would rank whoever wins that fight above both wilder and parker.Baby Face Finster wrote:You don't think the winner of Joshua-Klitschko should be considered the #1 guy at heavyweight?jockpunk wrote:I don't know that he would beat him, but Joseph Parker has a way better resume than Joshua. They want Parker because Wlad-AJ winner is immediately available. AJ-Wlad have a rematch clause built in with a mandatory waiting after that.
