This thread should be titled "I'm extremely jealous of Dave Coldwell"

The bitter and twisted OP is in for quite a rough week, having to watch chirpy little Dave basking in the limelight every night on Sky.

pro trainers get boxers already groomed.if they sell tickets they get looked after if not they go on the road not many pro trainers have done the hard graft and brought the kids through but my pros have had 5 defeats between the lot of them .how many Sheffield Trainers have had a senior ABA champion only a couple

Not all Amateur's make good pro's. The point been there's a difference between them. The thing with amateurs also is there's a lot of bye's sometimes on the way to getting to a final. Bellew wasn't supposed to win his world title ....but did....Jamie went to America twice and wasn't supposed to win.....but did. Ryan Rhodes wasn't supposed to beat Jamie Moore.....but did.All trainer's have good and bad days let's not look on the bad when there's only a few of them and judge someone.

Never been KO'd.
That's great but there's a big difference between taking kids to amateur tournaments and fringe world level professional heavyweight boxing

Theres a difference between guiding a pro fighter and gettin one bashed up and put in a coma Jamie Mac was already a world Champion guided by Dennis Hobson and trained by Steffi Bull and Dave Hully.Gavin got all his titles with the same team.Tony Bellew was already up there and David price under Maloney was looking invincible until he lost his first fight and the rematch.Coldwell didnt improve price in any way telling a 20st man to go for a walk against an overweight Hammer. Gavin lost almost every round the judge who had it 114-114 needs a big fine and sacking from the sport. So Gavin has lost now and if Bellew gets beat then what as all the lot has gone.and lets not forget Home Corners make a big difference. Why did coldwell never get an ABA champ as he did amateurs for years or not even a national finalist why has he never brought anyone through. If Dave Hulley had got on that plane hed be out of boxing now

Bellew wasn't a world champion....he is now. Gavin was supposed to get stopped but did really well to survive 12....what happened to Jamie for him to get stripped ?? Doesn't matter if he's had a ABA champion or not ( which is an achievement by the way ) he's got world champions....I'm sure boxing is full of Ifs and buts he went on the plane and is now been rewarded

Bellews a world champion great achievement but in a poor division gavin got well beat but proved hes got a world class chin.He had that chin with dave Hulley and Bully Jamie was all ready by Dave Hulley Coldwell stuck his name as manager as mcdonnell was in dispute with Dennis after leaving when he was bought that IBF.He did good and won it so he was already there

Usyk's also an Olympic, world, and Euro gold medalist who dominated the WSB prior to turning pro. He's an excellent fighter with a lot of amateur experience, and thus didnt need to be coddeled with 20+ cans before facing anyone decent.

Usyk one of the finest amateurs in recent memory who played with Glowacki who blasted Huck.

Then there's Gassiev, Lebedev, Dorticos, Breidis, Msksbu. Some very good guys there Mr Active.

Could well be the case but Dave and Tony will move on and likely have more successes.

You'll still be praying for their downfall on a monthly basis.

You're attacking the entire cruiserweight division because of your dislike for a trainer from Sheffield.
