Pathetic

Fat boy' has one win since 2014, and he got dropped and apparently looked like shitt. The first fight wasn't close and he's doing nothing to warrant a rematch.

If I were Wilder I'd call out Tyson Fury and train proper and fight him the UK then force Joshua to take the big one in the U.S :bag:

Wilder looked pretty ordinary last weekend. I wouldn't fancy his chances against the bigger more skillful and more experienced Brit.

You get Wilder 100 to fight Fury 2nd half of the year in the UK and knock his ass out in London.

The sanctioning bodies clearly don't want unification with all the recent mandatories ordered. Hopefully they can get this fight out if the way as soon as possible as Wilder did not seem to take much damage. Silver lining is Ortiz would be ranked 1 as soon as they have this fight maybe as soon as April.

The WBC previously stated multiple times that Wilder's next mandatory challenger would have to compete in a title eliminator in order to get a shot at a title. No fighter would be allowed to face their champ without engaging in a title eliminator.

So the WBC now instates Bermane Stiverne as Deontay Wilder's mandatory challenger, despite the Canadian failing a drug test a few months ago, without having competed in a title eliminator, previously losing every single round of their first bout and also looking absolutely awful in his only winning effort since getting whupped by Wilder - a victory against the unranked journeyman Derric Rossy (who himself has lost eight of his last ten bouts).

I would like one of the more knowledgeable members of this forum to eloquently articulate reasonable justification for the WBC's actions, since I'm completely mystified? :KO:

Deontay Wilder could end up becoming one of the longest reigning heavyweight champions in history to have never defended his titles against genuine top-ten opposition! :o

My best guess is that they are trying to get a sanctioning fee as soon as possible while avoiding potential litigation from Don King after the fall out from Stiverne-Povetkin.

By the time Wilder defeats Stiverne, he'll be allowed to continue with his penchant to perform voluntary defences against underwhelming opposition.

So immediately after whupping Stiverne for a second time, he would have been the WBC world heavyweight champion for almost three years, having successfully competed in seven title fights, which is statistically significant in the context of the title reigns enjoyed by previous champs.

I think he would fight parker/Fury winner or Ortiz next. No one wants to see another defense against someone like Wach.

Stiverne threw the first fight to Wilder and is being rewarded with a second payday and second thrown fight to Wilder - it's all just another fixed fake "win" for Wilder - Stiverne is a joke Wilder is a joke and the WBC is a joke -

There is no way Wilder's team will let him near one of the other champions, they would take defences against Wach and his ilk every single time...

The champions Wilder, Parker and Joshua plus add Tyson Fury and should flip off the alphabet organizations and hold their own tournament.

Wow, this crap is really happening. The promoters know almost no one pays attention to boxing anymore so they can get away with this crap.

Haymon has his ways to handle WBC. He clearly wants Wilder to keep fighting no-hopers. Stiverne fits just fine for that.

Wach would be by far his toughest, biggest and strongest opponend yet, with by far the best chin.
