More and more people are realizing what an extremely selfish, arrogant prima donna Andre Ward really is. He doesn't care about the fans and what they want and he feels he's entitled to all the advantages in every fight.

The Decision.
Certainly wasn't a robbery or something along the outrageous.
I had Kovalev winning.

Absolutely

Andre Ward as long as I've been watching him has been among the smartest boxers I've ever seen.
When did I buy into him ... Edison Miranda.
I know I'm odd but I bought Jones Pazienza rather than Jones v Toney which was earlier if that offsets all equations.
I'm a bit different I know but that's how I'm wired, sometimes a great performance can come up in the oddest of moments but surface in the greatest of times.

It's a pretty sensible suggestion to check what you're hearing is legit, unless you hear both parties confirming it take it with a pinch of salt.

Kovalev knew going in it was going to be his toughest fight.. He wasn't overanxious.. Ward was undefeated and untied.. He's a damned good boxer. He's damned smart... But the NSAC appointed 3 American judges and an American referee - in America... And it was Kovalev's 3 World Titles... If Ward had to defend those belts in Russia and 4 Russian officials were chosen by the Russian commission -- do you think Ward would say anything about that if he thought he won and the scored were all 114-113 for Kovalev???

So Kovalev's team knew a headbutt opens a cut, maybe the referee would ignore the head work... They knew he'd have to win 8 or 9 rounds solid... and they felt he certainly did that... He was well prepared for the fight and fought very well... He should have gotten the decision.. Ward knows he was given a gift and the rematch is going to be extremely tough.. Therefore he's trying his best to upset Kovalev, maybe training hard -- making demands.. Making sure everything is in his favor again.. It's not sportsman-like and Ward is being a jerk.. I thought he was a better man than that.

Ward took Krusher's best shot, got up and won a close decision. "Major Twitter blows" have zero effect, and if the rematch happens Ward will dominate.

My guess is it will be 55/45 in favor of Ward, that's fair or something close to it.

The Kovalev fight definitely ended Ward's fanbase.
It's become obvious how deep down insecure the guy really is . :OhYes:

Andre Ward is horrible for boxing and just uses it as his ATM when his money runs low. As soon as the judges gave him that title, I knew that was the end of a Light Heavyweight Division that has been surprisingly strong for the first time in many years. Kovalev was a GREAT champion and kept busy fighting 3 times a year on average. I also guarantee that had the correct decision been made in that fight, Kovalev would have already signed on to do the rematch because it was a good fight.

This is when the WBA-IBF-WBO should step in and strip the belts if Ward doesn't have a fight of some sort planned in the next two months. I don't care if he fights Kovalev or not but he needs to fight or cough up the belts and keep this division strong.
