Haye v Bellew undercard rbr

Post by Neil Gee »

Because there's no rbr for a promising undercard here is one.

Started with a decent light-welterweight fight between 2 unbeaten boxers. Ted Cheeseman v Jack Sellars.

Commentary vert pro-Cheeseman but Sellers put up a very good fight and I thought it was close. Cheeseman Won decision 8.

Was a good fight.

Sellers put up a great contest after being dropped so early and heavily.

With the card being so small, I can see a good bit of filler coming up tonight :yay:

I thought the lad was out as soon as Cheeseman connected with that straight right! Massive credit for getting up and making it close. I thought Cheeseman just about done enough.

Andoni Gago looks like he's been bought in as a patsy for Lee Selby.

Thought the Allen V Howe match was intriguing. I know it was from earlier in the night but I didn't know the result and I couldn't take my eyes off it. I was just going to say no spoilers please when it was over. Howe just fell apart in round 2.

The other one seemed to be focused on the main event. (Can't see a third). Everytime I looked at it it was someone asking what time Haye/Bellew starts or looking for links. I was just trying to have something focusing on the undercard.

It's only since Mathews/O'hara started they have started posting on the fights so I'll go over there now.
