At least Haye knows not to mention his leg after his WK toe excuse. This time it's patently valid.
Bellew not even got grace to accept he beat someone who could barely walk.

Give Bellew some respect.
And make sure to give context Horse

That was incredible, ive seen a lot of fights from all through the eras but Haye's heart was up there with the best ive ever seen, I predicted a 1 round KO win for Haye and maybe 3 rounds tops but Bellew was class ive gotta say, people will no doubt complain about him not getting a one legged Haye out of there legit, fair enough David did suffer an injury which had a major impact and Bellew couldn't hurt him but Bellew was making David look clumsy before the injury he wasnt doing much work so I had Haye winning by that point but Haye was wild especially with that lead left hand, I don't know if that was a ploy by Shane McGuigan to try catch Bellew by surprise by not going for the usual big right hands

The injury was a sickner for Haye though especially when you seen how much he went through to keep going and never gave in, never good to see a fight end like this but it was still great

Well everyone was expecting Bellew to be knocked out within 2 rounds, so have to give him a bit of credit...

No excuses, no complaints, from David Haye..... finally some class.... finally some humility from the man.... Haye giving Bellew all props to Bellew saying "I have knocked out bigger men than him and he took my best shots: you were the better man tonight, I have NEVER been in a fight like that before." :box:

This fight was competitive from round one till the sixth when Bellew dropped him, and the tide clearly turned in Bellew's favor from that time on. Bellew said he'd love to do it again, and Haye says he'll love a rematch. :TU:

I can say whatever I want, being drunk right now, but David Haye takes it as a men and seems to fully admit he was the weakest tonight and I can't do much else as appriciate that from him.

Exactly this.

I don't think I can watch boxing while Bellew is around.

Give Bellew some respect.

For this? No. he doesn't deserve any respect for this - nor of course any disrespect.

This doesn't detract from Bellew, obviously, but after Haye did his ankle Bellew couldn't possibly lose.

He doesn't have to mention it, it was obvious to everybody so he doesn't have to.

Although "everybody" clearly doesn't include half the people on here or anyone on 5 Live except Steve Bunce.

Well fornicate me that was bad to watch. Haye was dragging the back foot and flat footed from the start, then when the Achilles really went he was shagged. I lost big on that fornicator.

Rather see Bellew defend the cruiserweight title and use the stage he's benefited from for real fights. Longer he stays at heavyweight, harder to get back down and he could give his challengers an advantage.

Novelty fight, novelty result.

Is it a great idea to have a PPV rematch with a damaged David Haye, really?

I felt Haye's legs and balance were gone in the previous fight but obviously Gjerjaj wasn't good enough to take advantage.

Because they are blind to the fact he was a one legged punchbag for 5 round
