The next opponent for Thurman ?
The next opponent for Thurman ?
Pacquiao/Khan winner or Spence/Brook winner ?
Terence Crawford ?
Anyway, WW is the hottest division right now, although, personally, I prefer HW....

Thurman will probably face the winner of Berto-Porter, since they're competing in a WBC final eliminator.

Isn't Khan still mandatory?Enlightened-One wrote:Thurman will probably face the winner of Berto-Porter, since they're competing in a WBC final eliminator.
Also, I think Thurman will have a few defences. I know he's big enought to make, but he's only 28. I don't think he's in a rush.. He'll have another unification fight by the end of the year I think.. Unless WBA force Peterson to fight Thurman.

Doesn't Khan voluntarily lose his WBC mandatory challenger status when he officially challenges Pacquiao for his WBO belt?Ruthless-RKO wrote:Isn't Khan still mandatory?Enlightened-One wrote:Thurman will probably face the winner of Berto-Porter, since they're competing in a WBC final eliminator.

Hopefully the Brook/Spence winner. Best fighting the best. Garcia will come again. I wouldn't mind seeing him chin Khan again. In fact anyone chinking Khan is great to watch.

Pacquiao/Khan winner would be nice but probably won't happen. Wouldn't be shocked to see a Garcia rematch.
Re: The next opponent for Thurman ?
Pacquiao - Thurman would be pretty epic
Re: The next opponent for Thurman ?
As much as i want to see him fight the brook/spence winner, the smarter decision would be to beat his mandatory (whoever the hell it is), to milk the belts and get some more publicity and money by facing the khan/pacquiao winner.
The reason? Pacquiao is nearly 40. He looked good against vargas, buuuut, at his age he can slip literally overnight and age catches up with him. For legacies sake, it would be good to have pac's scalp before its obvious he has nothing left. As for khan, if he were to win this would instantly become a mega multi million fight between two prime belt holders and that would GREAT for his resume.
If he can get past all that, it makes a unification with spence/brook even sweeter and hype. Good for business, good for legacy, good for the fans!

I'd love to see Spence, maybe after he beats brook he'll have enough of a name for keith to accept.
