If they're smart they'll have this fight somewhere easy for British fans to get to.

Tampa would be nice :OhYes:

But it'll probably end up in Detroit.

Smith on points for me. Close but comfortable if that makes sense. I've no time for either of the Dirrell sisters so I'd love to see a KO but I reckon he may have to settle for a decision.

Smith decision for me. Dirrell clearly did not want to come to the UK with the margin of the winning bid being 400K. The UK fighters must love fighting the sisters when there is a purse bid at stake.

I fancy Smith by a wide points decision, shame it wont be in the UK.

Interestingly, I have just read that WBC rules for a vacant belt state the winner must fight two mandatories....not many in the current top 15 that would scare Smith. But could lead to two 'Brook-esque' defenses before he can move on to the Groves / Degale big money fights.

I know it's all speculation but where do you think this will be?

I heard May or June and obviously in the USA. Do you think it will be the main event, co-main event or attached to a bigger fight?

Dirrell doesn't have a base. His last few fights have been Miami, Atlantic City, Corpus Christi :o , Chicago, LA & New York.

They spent a lot of money stage a bout involving a 32 year fighter without a fan base & a bloke from overseas. I can't see how they're going to recoup that.

Cheers

It would make sense to put it on in Michigan.
Get Andre Dirrell on in the co-main vs. Rocky Fielding or Paul Smith...

Oh I'm sure the WBA would sanction it. They're a bit thin on the ground in Champions at 168

What a double header. Dirrell v Smith. Detroit v Liverpool.

I'd watch it with a little added interest if it were marketed that way. Wouldn't you?

If it's reasonably close to me I'm hoping to go just to see Dog v Mundo.

What a pathetic excuse that would be to pull out of the fight. He has been mandatory challenger for as longer than Paul Smith has had a decent win.

Why the hold up? I thought it was more or less a goer weeks ago?

I can't stand the Dirrell sisters but the Smiths are a fuckin riot. Callum is probably the only one I semi like.
