This is the first card in a while that I haven't purchased. Really starting to want to watch the Woodley fight right about now though.

Has Domonic Cruz stolen Joe Rogan's thunder?.....

He's an excellent analytical commentator.....

I wouldn't say he is stealing Joe's thunder. They make a very good duo. Between the two of them, fans will learn a lot about all aspects of the sport. I would like to see this pairing more often. But I know Joe is now only doing PPVs in North America. :verysad:

Given the current state of things in pretty much every division the I wonder if WME is beginning to think they overpaid?

I hope they have a planned for the long term because over the next year or two things aren't looking great.

That was a fuckin horrible performance from Woodly and Wankerboy. Thompson should never get a title fight again he is so negative.

Terrible fight, and I don't really get how Woodley won. At best I thought he might have scraped another draw by hurting Wonderboy in the 5th.

On a better note, Bektic/Elkins and Alcantara/Sanders on the prelims were absolutely amazing fights.

Sounds like I made the right choice skipping the card. Obviously haven't seen the fight, but I'm reading everywhere that Wonderboy got screwed. Sounds like Dana had him winning too. It'll be interesting to see where they go from here. Between the last fight and this one (if what I'm reading is correct) it appears that these guys are the same level with Wonderboy potentially having the slightest of edges; but their styles don't match up well and the first fight sucked and it sounds like the second did too. Time to move on. I hope Maia submits Woodley; that would be my number one wish for MMA right now.

Woodley is bitching and moaning about the critism for the boring fight. Says things like I would like to see Dana or a fan fight Thompson. This is why nobody likes him.

I don't see who the UFC put in with him next because it isn't going to sell unless he fights GSP and there's no way Dana is going to reward him for having two boring fights back to back. It's pretty easy to see why the UFC had to cave to GSPs demands because nobody else is capable of carrying a card right now. I read somewhere that WME is paying something like $200m a year in interest. They need a lot less main events that turn fans away like this one.

He's gotta fight Maia next, Damian will likely be pulled from his upcoming match so he can take Woodley late summer. I can't stand Tyron; he bitches and moans about everything and thinks people don't like him because of his race when really they don't like him because he's a dickhead who is not fun to watch unless he's given a victim to slaughter.

I've never been a big Wonderboy fan but he's in a really hard position now not totally disimilar to Junior at HW a few years back (except Junior was clearly not on par with Cain whereas Wonderboy is arguable better than Woodley); not good enough to win the title but most likely the top in the division. I don't see who they can match him with next. I'm hearing maybe Robbie, but that fight makes no sense.

I don't like either of them. Screw wonderboy Lawler, Robbie vs either Diaz is the fight to make. Woodley vs maia & wonderboy can have a nice rest. Seems like a great guy and he's highly skilled, I just hate him.

While I don't hate Wonderboy, I've never been a big fan. I agree, I'd love to see Robbie/Diaz, while Robbie/Wonderboy does nothing for me. 170 is not a strong division at the moment; I want to see Maia beat Woodley so bad it hurts. There are literally no intriguing fights for Wonderboy right now either...Masvidal since he'll likely get a squash match to replace Maia being pulled? Cowboy? Magny? Stun Gun? Gunnar? I think Wonderboy walks through all those guys. Nothing out there right now.

The UFC tried to make that for 209 and Diaz turned it down.

It's probably not going to happen. He also turned down a fight against Woodley for 209. Diaz just wants a big money fight that probably doesn't exist for him anymore, Lawler isn't a big money fight. Nate is holding out for a Conor rematch and won't take any other fight. He also turned down a title fight for 209.

I was just saying what I'd like to see. Wonderboy probably isn't going to do nothing either. Fights get turned down for many reasons and circumstances. Doesn't make them impossible.

Agreed, there's probably no better or more exciting fight to make at WW than Diaz vs Lawler 2.

It's just a rumour and I don't know how reputable the source is but supposedly Ferguson vs Khabib has been rebooked for either 210 or 211 and an offical announcement is expected soon.

I hope Khabib takes his diet more serious this time, I haven't seen it myself but on the embedded videos he's seen eating big tiramisu and a large plate of fried etc. if he's cheating on his diet like that hopefully he learned his lesson this time.

Has anyone watched the GSP v Bisping press conference?

I thought it was entertaining enough. Bisping made some good points and was able to put GSP on the spot a couple of times.

From Danas comments he's also going to give Romero a little 'gift' for being passed over again. Bisping is saying he will have a quick turn around and fight Romero within a few months after the GSP fight.

I saw Dana say that Khabib went to hospital when he was within 6 pounds of the weight, so it's not as if he was just struggling with the last pound or 2. That seems strange considering he's made 155 so many times before and hasn't had a huge lay-off to balloon in weight since 205. Hopefully it was just some sort of freaky incident that won't be a problem with his next cut.
