Has a career ending injury a few days before a big payday fight. What do you do?

Mask it and try to get Bellew out as early as you can or pull out with literally no hope of a reschedule.

If he had pulled out it would have have absolutely killed the bill and Hearn would have been raging but as I've said, Haye is totally driven by money so he conned us all and took the chance. I kind of feel for Haye but i'm not a boxing promoter i'm a boxing fan, so fk him.

Incredibly, David Haye has an army of fans, who are all too easily duped by him. People pay good money to see him perform and this was a selfish act, similar to Darren Barker going to Germany knowing he's injured.

Also, lets not let the antics of Haye/Bellew take away from the fact this was another very poor PPV show by Sky/Matchroom.

Haye pulls out of Fury fight with legit injury, costs punters money - people moan
Haye sucks it up and forces himself through the pain barrier, milking the casuals - people moan
Haye breaks his toe, loses a fight, uses it as an excuse - people moan
Haye ruptures his achiles, requiring immediate surgery, refuses to quit or make excuses - people moan

The man is injury prone but it would appear it doesn't matter what course of action he chooses, one thing remains constant - PEOPLE MOAN.

Right leg is stuff, not walking with a heel hitting the floor, instead very deliberately walking slow to flatten the foot to hit the floor with the whole foot surface together.

That's pretty conclusive stuff.

That makes me feel sorry for him. Tough situation to be in.
