It's not over for Haye... He'll still be a Heavyweight fighter when he's 40 like the K Bros were.. He's had a lot of bad luck.. Just because you've had a ton of shltty luck doesn't mean your luck won't change in the future. Like the guy who was sued for divorce 6 times and lost everything 6 times. He couldn’t catch a break. His 7th marriage lasted 50 years and produced 7 children. You keep going no matter what.,
Have extensive surgery.. rehab the Achilles.. get back into training.. win some fights.. get a title shot.. and get a title back if you can.. Vitali Klitschko came back at 37 and never lost again.. Foreman was out 10 years and made a comeback when even his kids said, “Man, you’re too old, fat, and lazy to make it in Boxing after waiting this damned long.” ... It pays to have a stubborn streak and a lot of people saying “You ain’t gonna do sheeeet.”
Does Haye really look like a man with a future to you?
Haye gets injured adjusting the climate control on his Ranger Rover Sport, so once he's got over this latest injury & lengthy absence, who knows what other part of his body will break down?
Haye hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse since 2012 & he's been inactive mostly since.
Considering his injury record & his recent activity, what has he done that would make you think he could be some sort of force again?
There's no point in citing the likes of Vitali & George Foreman as they were completely different fighters; much bigger & stronger & with different styles.
Haye's style has always been speed based & his speed has diminished.
He looked heavier & slower against the two waxwork dummies he fought last year & he didn't look quick against Bellew.
Haye doesn't doesn't strike me as someone that can completely change his style to compensate for his diminished skills, the way Foreman did, for example.
