He had a long winning streak that's for sure and it still hasn't sinked in yet. Why isn't the public talking more about the upset? This sure is an upset

With different judging, it could be his fourth loss.

On paper though he ALWAYS found a way to win! I had this same feeling when Oscar finally lost a decision to Trinidad. Swift Garcia losing? Damn

wtf is this world coming to?

Officially Garcia got his first loss on a split decision against a great opponent. Doubt it will hurt his marketability.

4?
Maybe that fight in PR, but it was a complete shitty fight, and his opponent was more about spoiling than winning.

I though Garcia won 7-5 over Keith, but I understand how his laziness cost him the fight in the eyes of others.
I think Garcia is better than Thurman, and it showed.

Thurman is going to get laid out soon.
BTW - I have nothing against Thurman. I actually root for him.

7-5? You must have been given any remotely close rounds to Danny... I gave Danny 4 rounds. Can't see how anyone could give him 7.

What did Garcia actually show to be better than Thurman? He consistently got beaten to the punch, and was flat footed. He showed that he has a good chin and is a good counter puncher. Other than that, I thought Thurman showed he was the superior technician.

Dude said Garcia could have four losses, crickets ...

Y'all are just on Thurman's dick because you guys hate Garcia so much.
The funny part is that you guys really started hating him after beating Mattysse.
What's funnier is how you'll turn on Thurman as soon as he fight anyone else.

Thurman looked wild and uncoordinated throughout the fight.
I saw tons of missed punches, but I have said Garcia should have been more active.

But, being more active is not criteria for winning a fight.
Unfortunately, it's become the deciding factor in close rounds,
That's called bad judging.

I dont hate Garcia at all and Im not a Thurman fan...typical for the forum crybaby to resort to emotional crap like that

Thurman is simply the better fighter and was the deserved winner

More active down the stretch, not better.

I agree that Garcia proved the better boxer. He has better balance, defence and technique. His composure is good too. He was clearly outworked over the 12 rounds though and deserved to lose the fight.

The comment was that Garcia showed himself to be better, not simply that he has better boxing skills.

There is a lot more to ability than how neat a fighter's work is, which is why Thurman was the deserved winner, not Garcia.
