You're not missing much, he looks short of ideas.
I've got him a little ahead but he's maybe not doing enough for an away win

Andrade winning fight but not looking his composed self.
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
Looks tired now and not at his sharpest.Batley18 wrote:Andrade winning fight but not looking his composed self.
Has probably just been the better fighter but no sting in his punches and hit a lot of gloves.
Culcay has tight defence and Boo boo lacked the imagination to break him down

This could be close
I'll be interested to see if bnovelist claims he's TBE in the morning

Andrade wins by SD
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
Shit scoring. Andrade by 5 I reckon, never a SD.

That was SOOOOOOOOOOOO f*cking boring !!!
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
Correct result for me but he looked far from impressive.
On that showing, Lara, Jermall or Canelo beats him.
Thankfully it's unlikely he fights any of them now

Split decisions... at least they going the right way...
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
Didnt score, but it felt like an 8-4 type of fight

It was alright.boxing_rocks wrote:That was SOOOOOOOOOOOO f*cking boring !!!

Split decision. Lmao. They forgot to buy one extra judge.
Culcay won 3 rounds.

Andrade looked like what he is, talented but inactive.davie wrote:I had it by a couple with 2 or 3 10-10 roundssamwbr wrote:poo scoring. Andrade by 5 I reckon, never a SD.
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
Tough win for Andrade, I think he seemed underestimate Jack a bit and suffered a bit from it, even with bigger size and power he couldn't KO Jack. From 7th round, he started to become a little tired. His entire 10th round as orthodox stance was average nice. I gave 116-112 for him.
If he thinks to next fight vs Castano, Lara or Alvarez (as they are the only above him in its respective rankings - http://www.fightnews.com/rankings-2) I think that he wins Castano a bit easy, but vs Lara or Alvarez, with today's match boxing he presented, he will lose on points.

Didn't watch it, but yeah... Andrade looks like he's not going to give us any wars anytime soon.boxing_rocks wrote:That was SOOOOOOOOOOOO f*cking boring !!!
Re: Culcay vs Andrade
I suppose credit where it's due.
He went to Germany and beat the champion.
Culcay was tight and compact and hard to break down
But I just felt there was a spark missing.
As someone else pointed out Andrade has a talent.
But he spent some rounds hitting nothing but gloves, his punches lacked power at times and he looked gassed after the 8
He needs to be more active and I wouldn't be too ambitious with his next couple fights. take a top 15 voluntary defence, before I'd even consider one of the top names
Hurd might be an interesting fight though, that could be winnable

And to think some people thought he could ever trouble Golovkin.

A fight between two mediocre boxers, one a bit better than the other.
Sadly, mediocre boxers like these two can win world titles, because there are so many belts and divisions.
