Boxers stories...
What boxers stories do you think would make for a good movie? Obviously ones that haven't been done yet?
Some cracking stories out there. Whether it's inside the ring, outside the ring or both?

I don't think so either, but it would make a great end for a film.samwbr wrote:There won't be a Hollywood endingStuffs wrote:Crolla

Tyson Fury, it'd be like a combination of Rocky, Snatch and Scarface.

Re: Boxers stories...
It would be some dreadful low budget cliche production. No way. It's not even that great a story. Bullying some internet poster is hardly a worthwhile topic. I'd almost rather watch the 'Andrew Flintoff resurrection- from boozer to undefeated pro boxer' story. At least it's ridiculousness would be funny....Jackson328 wrote:Curtis Woodhouse
Now I hate the prick, and wouldn't bother to watch the movie, but in a similar vein the 'Anthony Mundine' story would be far stronger.
Postscript - as others said, the Tyson Fury story on the other hand has everything
Post post script the Errol Christie story is also very interesting.

A proper Muhammad Ali film could be so good, his life was just unbelievable.
But films about him are always so fvcking dull.![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

What about big Frank? Few failed attempts. Lots of pressure on him. Maybe a bit about his struggle post boxing? There's a story in there somewhere...

Hyun Mi Choi - Scouted by the North Korean Govt when they though female boxing was going to be part of the 2008 Olympics, defected to South Korea as a teenager, became a world champion on debut, almost missed her first defense after her manager basically stole her money, became a 2-weigth champion and minor celeb..now trying to crowd fund her career...
