Yeah they had agreed terms etc mate. Think it was just a date and a venue to be sorted out.

He is in Camp in Canaries done about 3 weeks.

My understanding is Matchroom need to agree with council on the date 27th May or week after. SUFC want it there but also depends on football as playoff finals are that week in May.

Hearn tweeted that they were sorting out the venue stuff with the council.

Stadium fights take longer to sort out, worse comes to the worse they will fight at the o2 in June but hopefully they get the nod to do it at Brammel lane.Just social media being impatient and hoping Hearn fails to deliver something but they announced the Bellew-Makubu fight with 5 weeks to go at Goodinson Park so they got plenty of time.

Only in the UK would a promoter have to sort things out with "the council". They should be bending over backwards to get the fight, but guaranteed "the council" are making sure Eddie knows they're doing him a favour !!

League 1 play-off final is May 20th so not a problem with Blades (they will more than likely finish champions in any case). Wednesday could make the Championship play-offs which would be on Mon 29th (might affect ticket sales?)

If I was Khan team I would call up Eddie and agree on a fight. And when it is in the works, when Brook has pulled out from Spence fight and vacated the title I would pull out leaving Eddie & Kell "holding there dicks".
