Williams will be too slick for him I feel. He'll pick him apart, and bang him out around the 4th.

Lets hope so - I know Dann is a good domestic fighter - just think Richard has the sharpness to take advantage of Dann's tendency to get caught and hurt.

Depends on which RW turns up. We have to remember that RW's getting on now... the seemingly world-class operator who banged out Shannon Taylor is a thing of the past.

I think Dann's natural weight advantage, strength and southpaw style will be too much for the ageing RW who will have his moments early on but be outworked and stopped in around 8-9 rounds.

I like Williams but feel he is past his best. I see a late stoppage for Dann, but if RW can turn back the years I'd take him on points.

All depends on how fit RW is - I would imagine a fit Richard Williams can stop Dann.

If RW gets another outing next month or so then he will be even sharper and fitter than the last time.

Inactivity could paly a part - but as I said - if W is fit and ready - he should win. Dann is not that good from the few fights I have seen of him - bt he is busy and can hit.

Not sure about his chin.

Could this be a 50/50 fight?.

If RW is ready - he wins.

Saw his last fight on tape again yesterday - he looked good - more sharpness and fitness and he wins.

I think Dann will win by KO in the 7th or 8th.

I spoke to Scott and he is looking forward to this as he thinks that RW will come for a fight and hopefully it will be more entertaining for the general public compared to the Sharp fight, where he just seemed on the back foot all night.

Tricky one. Both big hitters so anything could happen which is why I'll be glued to this match up.

I'll say Williams by KO, but it's a toss of a coin really.

Dann can look quite pedestrian at times, he's not the most versatile of fighters, but he will have the edge in strength and aggression which makes this a very nice fight on paper.

I strongly fancy Williams to win this by late stoppage or points. If you take the 2 losses to Martinez (who is an outstanding boxer) from Williams's record, its pretty impressive.

I love to watch Williams fight. I can't believe he didn't start boxing til late on, because he's so fluid. Providing Williams has got the fitness to go the full 12 he wins IMO. Although the south coast barmy army could even it up a tad

Its an excellent fight

Yeah its not guarenteed to go to the south coast, but Dann's the ticket seller which makes them favourite IMO. It can take place in outer Mongolia for me as long as its televised

I would think Matchroom have the deeper pockets - Dann gets 3,000 fans on the South Coast ???

No idea - I am sure they would travel or enough of them combined with RWs fan base who would turn out - be a good night - not sure if the Sanigars have a tv contract????.. If Matchroom win - it will be on Sky without a doubt..

Personally - I hope Matchroom gets it -but they will have to dig deep!

I think they owe it to RW to get him home advantage..

DH do you not watch the boxing on friday night mate?

Scott has been on twice on sky in the past 4-5 months.

Great fight though, Scott for me by mid to late round stoppage just that bit hungrier and heavy handed.

The Sanigars have go from strength to strength and I'll be surprised if they DON'T win the purse bids.

Home advantage is a plus no doubt about it, but this one will boil down to whose prepared to push themselves to the limit. Can't wait!

I think that Scott has a 5 -fight deal with sky - don't quote me on this though!

Any fight with Scott in Plymouth will sell out, as there's f-all else to do down here!

With the Dann-Elcock fight I think that it never really went off as such - both fighters were looking to counter-punch and never really gave the other a chance for a KO.

That's right. Elcock played quite a cagey game against Dann. We know Richard will come to box agressively, but with his usual smooth style.
