Boxing help amateur

Post by Benridings1997 »

Really need other people's opinions and help
PLEASE HELP!

I have been boxing for about 4 years won the north west regional championships 3x and have won bronze in the nationals towards the end of my 4 years of boxing I started being on and off as I grew older I'm am now 19 and I had about 6 months off boxing and then another 3 months at some point I love the sport with all my heart but I feel that I'm over thinking all the time and I'm always worried about my health . Hearing stories about other boxers and them experiencing health issues throughout their bowing career makes me over think about myself and it makes me wonder if the same will happen to me . I recently experienced having headaches for a long time and it really put me off boxing, I had a mri scan and I'm still waiting for my results but I no longer have the headaches , I think I was having them due to stress also am I too late to start my boxing as now im 19 . Does anyone else experience this ? Feeling paranoid about their health throughout boxing

didnt think about health stuff at all when i boxed, was obviously aware of the risks but my love for the game meant it was a risk worth taking, and no mate 19 isnt too late ! good luck in whatever you decide :TU:
