Ceylon vs Lowe European Featherweight Title

Post by smiling assassin »

Isaac Lowe challenges Ceylon tomorrow for the title in Denmark. Not seen to much of Ceylon other than him beating Ryan Walsh. He looked impressive that night and goes into this fight as the slight favourite but Lowe is a quality fighter himself and hopefully can go there and bring the belt back to England and push him on to the next level

Who is Isaac Lowe actually with? Because I've seen barely any coverage of this. I thought he was with Hearn.
Sky should have picked it up.

I'm not sure either mate. I watched him on sky ages ago but I didn't think he was ever with Hearn just boxed on one of his shows don't take my word for that though as I'm not sure that was the case

Lowe is with steve wood.
If he wins over in denmark then he would probably be picked up by one of the bigger promo co.
He seems to of gotton under ceylans skin, which could play into lowes hands nicely.
Theres a link on sauerlands website to view the event

Ceylon looks a good fighter. I see him winning this via points or late stoppage.

Shame it hasn't been picked up on British TV. Good fight. I'd prefer to watch this than Conlans debut.

The problem Ryan Walsh had was he sat back too much when if hed had more of an output and took it to Ceylan more.I think Lowe has good movement, switches his shots well from body to head and hopefully has more of an output than Walsh did.Ultimately I reckon the size difference will be the difference here,Ceylan is the bigger man.

Big Big ask but not an impossible task for Lowe taking on an unbeaten European champion in his own backyard . Ryan Walsh had some success last time with Ceylon and Lowe may get similar opportunities during the fight when he will really need to make his mark.

I really admire fighters like this taking on such a fight abroad, far away from home putting their own unbeaten record on the line.
Lowe may need to get a stoppage like his Vip stablemate Joe Murray on the the Walsh/Ceylon undercard when a spectacular stoppage against another unbeaten fighter meant not going to the scorecards ! . Unfortunately that impressive win doesn't appear to have done him any favours at home . Murray has been quite vocal wanting to take on Scott Cardle for the British but for me he's being avoided.

Saddens me that such fights are not snapped up and given the tv coverage they deserve especially when we are regularly served up one sided predictable scraps that masquerade as title fights.

Good luck Isaac !!

Agreed allegedly at minimum should pick this up. Isaac should be a fighter they look at if he winsome at least puts in a good performance.

Saw him against Marco Mcculoch on the Frampton undercard. He is decent at least got a British title in him for sure :TU:

Interesting, completely under the radar, the so called boxing dept at sky probably blew their monthly boxing budget on an Adam Smith jaunt to Miami to "chat" with David Haye, what a complete bell end Smith is.

Presumably this is on Danish TV so we can get a stream link somewhere ....

Was thinking this myself. That being said I've seen Walsh quite a lot whereas I've only seen Lowe a couple of times. I still wouldn't write Lowe off here right enough. Horses for courses n all that. Walsh wasn't busy enough against Ceylan but I'm sure Lowe will be busy from the first bell.

Did you see Tyson was at the weigh in with a beer in hand haha can't see him coming back just yet. Back to Lowe though and he is probably not as good as Walsh yet but that's not to say he can't be, and his team must of studied the fight against Walsh and that gives them a bigger chance to get their tactics right. I think Lowe will win this but not sure if he will get it on the judges cards

Does anyone know how to watch this online? Kids are watching a film on Kodi and iPad isn't the best for streaming. I've checked Sauerlands website but can't seem to find anything.

Hi mate, I've just found the card via my kodi on a channel called skynet 3, might be worth a quick Google search to see if you can find a reasonable stream on your iPad
