Then and now....

Post by Stuarty »

I categorise my fighters by my top three domestic guys and also my top three overseas guys. Who is your current top three domestic and top three overseas fighters?

Do two lists. Do you're top current men and also your all time top three and three :TU:

Not 100% sure if we're doing best or favourites - I'm doing favourites.

Now:

World: Manny Pacquiao, Gennady Golovkin, Vasyl Lomachenko.

Then:

UK: Carl Froch, Ricky Hatton, Lennox Lewis.
World: Roy Jones Jr, Roberto Duran, James Toney.

Now overseas - Kovalev, GGG, Lomachenko

Now UK - Fury, Chisora, Frampton

Then overseas - Hagler, Ali, Azumah Nelson

The UK - Benn, Lewis, Honeyghan

Much easier to list favourite fighters from yesteryear than it is now

Marcos Maidana getting a lot of love one here.

He had some class fights and should be remembered fondly.

The Amir Khan one is among the best I have ever watched and the Broner win is one of the most enjoyable fights of my time watching boxing.

He also arguably gave Floyd his hardest ever fight ( except Castillo first time ).
