If Marquez could catch Cotto like he caught Pacquiao, I would be so glad. Unfortunately chances of that fight happening at 147 are very low, and Marquez is right to not agree on higher weight.

I figure with the money Marquez could make he'd agree to 150 at least. There's not a lot of big money fights out there anymore for Marquez. He can't be too picky or he'll talk himself right out of his last payday.

If JMM was like Pacquiao/Roach/Arum, they would drain Cotto to 145. Cotto was the 147 champ at the time, and they offered him a 76-24% AND threatened to get him stripped if he didn't agree to it.

So, any dissing of JMM for standing firm at 147 at his age, and considering Cotto's age, can take a hike , so to speak. Its not about money.
