A very cautious start to the fight by both Jacobs and Golovkin.

Golovkin is being defensively-responsible and very patient.

Tentative first round from both, no significant punches landed. I score it even.

Jacobs clearly the bigger man with the faster hands. Another tentative round, I thought GGG edged it, threw more and was a little more aggressive.

Two hard to score rounds but Jacobs just about wins them due to being slightly busier.

Golovkin needs to pick up the pace and stamp his authority, because Jacobs will inevitably grow in confidence as each round passes by.

Third round is another tentative one, but Jacobs lands a big left in the final minute, GGG takes it well. Jacobs round.

Lost my steam during the 4th, but Jacobs was knocked down. 10-8 round to GGG

GGG dominates the first two minutes, lands several jabs and right - nothing wrong with Jacobs' chin. Jacobs turns southpaw and wins the final minute, but still a clear GGG round.

49-46 GGG

I can't quite understand the reason why Golovkin's work-rate dipped significantly during the sixth round.

If not for knowing who GGG is and how he earned his reputation, I think you'd find him pretty dull to watch right now.

Jacobs's really frustrating golovkin, good chance of an upset here.

GGG looks fantastic when he does let his hands go, but he's not doing it enough for my liking... and this is making the scorecards closer than they need to be.

Surely GGG hasn't placed all his eggs in one basket, by banking solely on the KO?

Just got my stream back, but I missed the 6th-8th. Jacobs looked to be winning the 8th, but GGG got the last minute.

Even though the quality is coming from Golovkin, he's not winning the rounds clearly and a decent argument can be made that Jacobs is slightly ahead on the scorecards due to his superior work-rate.

Jacobs was winning the 9th but got hurt in the final minute, so GGG sneaks the round for me.
