Would Warren Take Hatton Back?

After reading yet another anti Hatton, pro SN post from our local SN nuthugger (boxingchat)

I was ammused to read his last line suggesting that Fránk Warren would maybe not so interested in having Hatton back?

So, what do we think as boxing fans? i.e Us people who have given Franky the lifestyle he has become accustomed to.

Would Fránk Warren WANT Hatton back?

I would hazzard a guess as yes, especially if it is the same Frank that offered a personal invite for Hatton to come sit next to him at the Lacy/Calzaghe fight.

We all know Frank is possibly one of the biggest hypocrite's to ever sit ringside - We only have to read his news of the world articles to prove such a thing.

As is not unusual amongst promoters, there is a lot of hot air and ego's to massage, but I don't believe for one minute that SN wouldn't want to deal with Hatton again.

Money. As long as Hatton can make money then FW would welcome him with open arms. After all boxing is a buisness not a sport anymore

Why would he be going back to Warren, there's been a few hicups with the first american fight but it's not dennis hobson's fault Lazcano Broke his finger.
i think everybody deserve's a second chance and hobson might come good for hatton later in the year if he can produce a megafight like Mayweather or Gatti.

No I don't think Warren would take Hatton back. Frank is a man of principle and once he has been crossed by someone he will cut them off. He has said it repeatedly when asked if he could work with the Hatton's again 'No No not ever'.

Well what were we supposed to answer on this thread?

What's the next thread, "Will Joe Calzaghe ever fight again?" or "Is Scott Harrison's name Scott?"

If Ricky Hatton never betrayed Warren like he did, Fwanky would probably have bought out Baldomir's next watch and Hatton could most likely have been a two weight LINEAR champion... But, NOOOO

Warren is, quite rightly, motivated by money. So is Hatton equally as validly.

it may not happen soon, but eventually they will sort it out. we will have lots of "prodigal son" decalrations and Warren will go back to lining up the stiffs and lining both their pockets

Arum said about 5 fights ago he was done with Floyd after their initial 6 fight deal...notice who's still hanging around together? Money talks, and Warren would take Ricky back in a second, just for the money he brings in over in England. However, I don't think you'd see Ricky in America ever if he did that.

Bit of a daft un, this. Why do you think Frank extended the olive branch to Ricky and invited him ringside for Calzaghe-Lacy? Of course he would work with him again.

Fight Academy have certainly not covered themselves in glory with recent events. Of course it's not Dennis Hobson's fault that Lazcano broke a finger - but the opponent should have been sorted well before now.

Hatton's managerial situation reminds me of a similar thing happening to John Conteh when Conteh's brother took over his career. Conteh's career went downhill really which is what happens when someone with no experience of the boxing business tries their hand. What experience does Ray Hatton have? As far as I know none. I know Dennis Hobson is also involved but is he that experienced? Warren outflanked Team Hatton straight away by signing that exclusive deal with the MEN.

I think he would take him back but under different circumstances (Dad stays at home) and the relationship would no doubt be frosty.

It would be a bit like your wife coming back after an affair. You would have her back but you would alway's make sure you wore a condom.
