thank you! I've been looking for this. I was very interested in how they scored that last few rounds and how they could give Jacobs the 12th round is crazy. I just don't get it. That was probably the most lopsided round for GGG in the fight. Stupid.

So the judges only unanimously awarded Golovkin rounds 1, 4, 5, 8 & 9, with Jacobs only gaining the nod from all three judges in rounds 6, 10 & 11. The judges’ scorecards varied on four rounds (2, 3, 7 & 12).

Personally-speaking, the first round played out the same as the second and the third, with both fighters being overly-cautious and not really letting their hands go, which is the reason why I’m a little surprised about the inconsistent scoring of that round by Trella, DeLuca & Weisfeld. I expected at least one of them to consider Jacobs the winner of that round, since there really wasn't anything to split them.

Based on aggregated scores of all three official judges’ round-by-round scorecards, Golovkin and Jacobs won six rounds apiece, with the fourth round knockdown being the major deciding factor.

The aggregated scorecards meant that the fighters won the following six rounds:
• Golovkin = 1, 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9
• Jacobs = 2, 6, 7, 10, 11 & 12

Here are the aggregated official scoring of all twelve rounds (according the the photo below):
• 1: Golovkin (30-27)
• 2: Jacobs (29-28)
• 3: Golovkin (29-28)
• 4: Golovkin (30-24)
• 5: Golovkin (30-27)
• 6: Jacobs (30-27)
• 7: Jacobs (29-28)
• 8: Golovkin (30-27)
• 9: Golovkin (30-27)
• 10: Jacobs (30-27)
• 11: Jacobs (30-27)
• 12: Jacobs (29-28)

Based on the above numbers alone, it superficially seemed that the Judges believed that Golovkin dominated the first half of the fight, with Jacobs winning the second half by a comfortable margin.
