PPV for a fight like this is, in the context of the day, fine by me. I think this is the best fight that could be made at 147.

1. If he kills himself he will be knocked out
2. If he half kills himself he will last the distance
He could Ko Spence early which is his best chance of winning if Spence is chinny.

Don't under estimate Hearns ability at selling PPVs :shame:

Get ready for no1 v no2 etc etc
With Joshua - Klitschko on the 29th April, it'll be 2 PPVs within 3 weeks...
Will it do over 300,000?

I'm hoping Hearn stacks this card.

No doubt the undercard will be stacked.

Be a couple of world title fights. And the Matchroom special sacrificial lamb aswell (Edwards, vallily etc).

The best Brook would be a good bet against Spence.

But Brook will have proper trouble getting down to 147.

I fear a quick blow out.

Saying that, I also think 154 is one of the strongest divisions in boxing so he'd be in trouble there too. But at least he'd be at his physical best & not weight drained.

This is where we find out.

Brook is a good fighter, certainly a good enough test to see if Spence is the real deal. I happen to think he is too, and think this will announce him at the top level.

Not sure. Why? Do you have suspicions?

I suspect everyone

But I have recently read quite a few things online which strongly suggest Spence is on PEDs, so just wondered what the testing situation was.

A point to note is Brook is very effective against southpaws (albeit at a much lower level) and seems to find a home for his straight right hand very early in fights against them. Most fighthers take some time to find their range againist southpaws. Second point is Spence has yet to fight a puncher. I still favour Spence but will be very interesting especially if Brook can do the weight okay.

Spence was recently given notice that he would be removed from the WBC rankings if he didn't sign up for VADA. He didn't and he was removed.
Kell has been hounding him on twitter to sign up for this fight to go ahead and Spence has just signed up.

I'm admittedly pretty naive when it comes to this kind of thing that's why I asked. I suppose ignorance is bliss.

Spence does look pretty machine like....

I read some books about PED in sport a while back and it seriously increased my suspicions about nearly everyone. :brick:

He isn't, no more than Bellew.. he's the same level draw as Crolla..

This is never a PPV fight. Had this been in the US, and they showed it here in the UK, it wouldn't be ppv

I feel your frustration. I don't mind paying for this though. It's a top fight. Hopefully there is a good undercard as you say. Undercards have been utter pish recently.

Dominic Ingle on GGG: "Kell knocked the stuffing out of him, and he wasn't the same fighter.".........whats Dom been on? He usually comes across as suit sensible and knowledgeable
