And Still.......the best MW in history. GGG clearly won the fight in Jacobs hometown against a guy in Jacobs who is in his prime and one of the best MW's in the world. I don't see how anyone can use a great win like this against GGG and his historical stature with the all time greats.

To be fair, that was a fight promoted by K2 in an arena where Golovkin fought multiple times. If it was Haymon backed promotion, a result could be different. That was another reason why Loefler didn't want Haymon to win the purse bid.

I believe Korobov would beat GGG right now. I'm one of the only ones who picked Jacob's to win, and am a big Golovkin fan. But he is definitely losing steam. It's clear. People can twist it any way that suits them it doesn't matter. The proof is in his next fight, where he again looks vulnerable. Mentally prepare, because it is going to happen. Ginger's plan may work sooner than expected.

He is still a highly skilled fighter, can't deny that. He also has a tricky style and is a southpaw. It's a damn good match up.

By the way, here is Korobov destroying young Jacobs in amateurs:

GGG clearly won the fight regardless of the promotion company that put the fight on. It was the correct call and the judges got it right though, I think that they gave Jacobs way too many rounds for what he did in there. I could have seen the judges screw GGG like they did Kovalev, they got it right.

Plus, i've seen some pretty good decisions and judginging in PBC so far. Surprisingly so.

Yeah, I've seen it, the guy is an elite level talent. They both have come a long way since then a rematch now sounds good.
