Just a very cheeky one that I couldn't resist. Brett Fidoe is 25/1 against debutant Sean McGoldrick. Brett is a massive handful when he fancies it and is coming off a decent win against undefeated Matt Windle. McGoldrick has all the pedigree (C'wealth Gold and Bronze) etc but 25/1 is a long way off in my book. Definitely worth a tiny nibble.

A betting acquaintance of mine took a small stab on this bout on Spike TV UK this afternoon and I found a stream that appears to work, so little play on this longshot underdog too.

Gogi Knezevic (+1600) vs Conrad Cummings ~$20.00 for ~$320.00

Small wager on a dog in a bout in Mexico tomorrow- Contreras should have a size advantage and has power while the better boxer in Gonzalez is pretty well past it, despite a better career.

Francisco Contreras (+1500) vs Jhonny Gonzalez $20.00 for $300.00

I'm not going to bet much as all fights are pretty much a coin flip for me in terms of outcomes.

Rose to beat Arnfield @ 13/8

Katie Taylor Decision/Technical Decision @ 7/4

Linares to beat Crolla Decision/Technical Decision @ 6/4

Well done, he's power was really poor tonight and he was getting caught a lot by a Hughes who has been out the ring for nearly a year. I'll be watching his opponents closely coz if he steps up to world level a good opponent is gunna beat him quite easily.

Skybet has a price boost for Arnfield @ 6/1 so will have a small play on that.

Landed two out of the three bets I placed today. Same as last week funny enough. A little dissapoint because I thought Rose beat Arnfield (most people on another boxing forum I use did too). Another decent profit though.

On the flip-side Joe Gallagher almost pulled Crolla out. So can't complain overall. :TU:

I was about to jump out of my chair with joy when his trainer almost pulled Crolla out. That would have been a round 11 TKO for Linares and a huge win for me. Linares getting a UD resulted in a much small win there.

No chance that was just to win, or points, may have been for ko/tko.

Randy Caballero vs Jesus Ruiz

I have value plays on the underdog veteran Jesus Ruiz in the co-main event on ESPN 2 tonight to go the distance and hopefully upset Randy Caballero. Caballero is a good prospect but he's coming off a long thirteen month layoff, moving up to super bantamweight and his power is yet untested at 122 pounds. Caballero made weight for this Thursday evening bout but he has struggled with weight cutting in the past. Ruiz is a tough out who has fought better competition and also bigger than the undefeated Caballero, so value on him to get the upset or at least force it to go to the cards.
Unlucky with the Ruiz decision. I heard It was a close fight.
