It is p***es me off big time people praising Brooks performance in that fight and saying he made GGG look poor etc
He got smashed like everyone said he would. Brook may have won 1 round that is it.
People need to rewatch that fight without sky commentary it wasn't even close.
Golovkin looked rubbish against Brook.
Golovkin had too much power for Brook, that was about it.

He battered him. Nothing else matters in the context of that fight, it may have irreparably damaged Brooks career.

A middleweight battering a welterweight is not impressive, especially if the middleweight is losing rounds.

It was still a poor performance.
Golovkin had to rely on his power.

How dare he rely on his greatest weapon in his arsenal in a fight. Madness.

Trying to make out like Golovkin was impressive against Brook is weaker than what I'm doing here.
People have been banging on about how amazing Golovkin's skills are for years and they were nowhere to be seen against Brook, who made him seem very ordinary.

A top level fighter hears a final bell after being put on his pants and the detractors are out. Unreal. Golovkin is phenominal fighter that would be at the very least competetitive with any 160 fighter in history.

It's like you've never watched him and just look at his record.

Because Golovkin has very little else on his record to dismiss this as an aberration.
He faced his best opponent to date and he looked far more limited than people have been suggesting he should have looked.
Jacobs didn't just manage to hear the final bell, he deserved the decision according to a lot of people, including me.

You'll have taken note of his all round boxing ability then, that far better judges than yourself have been impressed by.

I had Maidana beating Floyd. Time for some perspective, every fighter has close fights.

You too busy adopting a contrary position you miss what's going on in front of your eyes.

But Mayweather has a fantastically deep record. Golovkin does not.
Does Golovkin even have one win P4P that would make it into Mayweather's top 10 wins?

Based on the nature of the victory, I'd say no.
