Solis landed with more effect than Jacobs did, causing McD's nose to seriously bleed throughout and putting him on the retreat for large portions of rounds, with McD looking quite wary in the process. For the most part, McD could only muster flicking jabs that were thrown from too far out (GGG's were much stiffer and more accurate), and he obviously didn't drop Solis or hurt him as badly as GGG hurt Jacobs in the 9th.

Solis landed the best shots in most of the rounds, and clearly did more damage then McDonnell.
Get over it.
It's not something that I ever needed to get over---it's simply an example of your scoring being all over the place.

Yep, you should get over it :TU:

GGG won fair and square, and if Lara really wanted to fight him he could move up and pursue a mandatory spot rather than fighting garbage like shot Yuri Foreman

It's not about Lara, it's about Golovkin.

Golovkin wants it all his own way and isn't willing to take risks while demanding that other fighters do.

He's a hypocrite and a chicken.

Alvarez was willing to fight Lara. Why isn't Golovkin?

Does Lara actually want the fight as bad as he says he does? Why is he feasting on scrubs at 154 rather than moving up and taking advantage of his WBA ranking? Talk is cheap, and Lara's career has become increasingly boring and risk free. It seems like he's gone down the Adonis route of being happy to face scrubs for good money.

Shot Yuri Foreman

Lara poses zero risk for Golovkin. He doesn't have power to concern Golovkin, so GGG would just roll through him like he did with Monroe or Brook.

He didn't really beat Jacobs though. He lost in my opinion.

I think there's a very good chance that Lara could beat him.

Golovkin has a lot to prove, his record is very weak considering his hype.

Golovkin should fight him then.

Why would he? Then he should fight Rod Salka before Lara.

To pick up arguably the best win of his career and give a huge boost to his pathetic record.

I had it 114-113 for GGG. It was certainly a close fight, but I thought the right man won. I'm gonna watch the fight again though.

I think GGG has proven a good bit, his hype is certainly excessive but no doubt GGG is the man to beat at 160 right now and has been for some time. That's no small feat. To be THAT guy in the division for multiple years.

I don't think Lara presents any kind of difficulties that Jacobs didn't. I think GGG would have a considerably easier time with Lara than he did with Jacobs personally, but I'd have no objections to him fighting Lara. I do believe GGG has bigger fish to fry than Lara though.

Saunders, Jacobs 2 or Canelo are all bigger fights, but Lara would be the next best thing if any of those 3 can't be next.

If he actually fought that lot then I would have nothing to complain about.

If he fights opponents like Wade or Brook again, then I will be complaining.

You and a lot of others. I'm a huge GGG fan, but if he's not fighting the cream of the crop in his next few fights I'll be annoyed with him.
