I really wouldnt be so hard on Eubank, for he never had any expensive or murdeous weaponary to rely on when he went into combat. He earned his stripes the honest way. No unassuming or innocent people got harmed in his battles.

You don't accept that fighting fire with fire's a game of whack-a-mole when it comes to terrorism, and that the Taliban and IS are two sides of the same coin with little apparent progress made? I don't feel any safer following our invasion in Afghanistan.

The UK's drone pilots have stricter rules of engagement than the US', and though many would-be terrorists have been killed in strikes, so too have civilians. The real question is whether Afghanistan is a better country now, and I don't know the answer to that. But I won't blindly assume that it is just because the British army's made efforts to help.

I have it on good authority that Eubank Snr often leaves signed photographs of himself at places he has visited, no one asks him to do this, it's off his own back, very kind IMO.

The other side to that is I've heard a few horror stories from people who've been at similar dos with him. CES doesn't do himself favours with the way he behaves.

I've been in The company of CES at least a dozen times. Each one of them, he has been a complete d!ck. When I was living in NY, when I was back in London, I'd stay at the same hotel (the one in Charterhouse Square) where he often stayed, he would preen around begging to be recognised. Eventually, I believe he got barred.

He used do the same at Claridges (down the road from where I now work). Barred again.
