i think tel could beat him,it would have to be a hell of a work rate , as i don't think terry has the power, but linares seems to switch of a little in the 2nd half of fights , would have to be a personal best performance by tel

Haven't seen much of Flanagan. Would favour Linares from what I've seen.

Linares has a history of vulnerability that will probably lead to some people going against him whenever he fights at a decent level.

Agree. While I would have Linares as favourite I wouldn't be completely against a Flanagan win.

Linares is by far the better fighter but Flanagan could out hustle him if he pressed him from the off. He's big and strong at the weight and would have to make they advantages count because that's all he really has going in his favour. Linares is better in almost every other department. I wouldn't write Flanagan off completely but I'd heavily favour Linares.

I have rated Flanagan highly for some time and have been one that says he absolutely schools Crolla for YEARS.

However the opposition recently has been nothing but poor and I feel he is losing momentum and wasting his peak years. I have been comparing him to Kell a brook recently. Poor defence then promoter says " oh but it will be a big fight next"

No excuses for the last opponent that was dire plus you have to consider the momentum of both fighters going into a fight. Look at the first Linares and Crolla fight. Crolla was in the form of his career and Linares had not fought for 11 months and that was only a tune up fight. The first was for me 116-112 Then flipped round Linares absolutely puts on a masterclass in the rematch on the back of activity and a good win. Linares would be going into this with good form and Flanagan would not be.

Flanagans size could be an issue and he can fight dirty, when he needs to. The southpaw stance also makes it interesting and he does have much superior footwork to Crolla.

Linares is favourite I'm just not sure what the chances of it happening are. I would absolutely love to see Linares v Mikey Garcia or Lomachenko though.

Linares is an awesome fighter

I'd lean towards Linares as he's a quality fighter.
But I wouldn't write Flannagan off, he's a good boxer and looks a tough cookie. He's better than Crolla so it's surely a tighter fight.

I'll go Linarez split decision

Linares for me. I think he'd catch Turbo coming in.
The only fighter at LW to beat Linares IMO is Garcia.

Because you told me he was
10. (10.) Terry Flanagan
11. (11.) Scott Quigg
12. (12.) Billy Joe Saunders
13. (13.) Ricky Burns
14. (14.) Anthony Crolla

Yes.

It seems a bit unfair though, considering that Crolla is fighting the much better opposition.

You don't have to move him.

If he was in 14th place after losing to him once, does it make him worse losing to him again

The 2nd loss was a lot more convincing.

Maybe I won't move him. He was on the low end anyway.

Mitchell ran Linares very close and put him down. Flanagan has a shout but a shellacking is likely
