The sauderlands put a pic up on Twitter of Paul smith and Arthur Abraham at the Tyrone zeuge WBA world title defence surely for him to be there when his stablemate crolla is fighting Linares at home he has to be in line to fight zeuge next

Re: Paul smith word title
How the hell he continues to get world title shots, I'll never know.
Re: Paul smith word title
He's the type of guy I'd expect Sauerland to match Zeuge with.

Well its about bloody time
Re: Paul smith word title
Anyone see the Zegue fight? Sounds like he had it tough against a limited opponent.
Re: Paul smith word title
The only world title Paul Smith could win would have to involve the eating of pies.
Re: Paul smith word title
I don't really understand why though. Based on what I've seen from Zeuge, I'd give Smith a good chance of beating him. Smith seems high risk (in relation to Zeuge) and low reward. I'd also imagine that Smith asks for a bigger purse than I'd imagine Zeuge's other opponents would be asking for.crusader wrote:He's the type of guy I'd expect Sauerland to match Zeuge with.
Why don't they just make Zeuge-Abraham? Atleast Sauerland own the rights to both fighters if Zeuge loses.

WBA ARE SCU
If the wba has rejected it all Paul smith weill have to do is to fight for a WBA international all intercontinental title
Don Broadhurst hasn't been relevant for years,
Now Eddie Hearn wants to match him up against yafi for the wba world title
And Broadhurst ain't even got a ranking with the wba so what eddiehearn said all he has to do it's fight for one of the regional belts with the wba

The WBA strike again! Their belt is meaningless and as an organisation they are shambolic.
Paul Smith is domestic level at best and tbh he's probably past his best so this is a puzzler. I suppose you've got to take these opportunities if you're lucky enough to get them but I have to emphasise the word 'lucky' here because he certainly hasn't fought his way in to contention.

You're on very thin ice describing Smigga as domestic level. Everyone knows he's world class hence the guaranteed annual title shots in his contract.Stuarty30 wrote:The WBA strike again! Their belt is meaningless and as an organisation they are shambolic.

If he fell is the Mersey he'd come out with a salmon in his gub!

Finally! Finally Smith gets the world title shot he so richly deserves. He's been putting the hard yards in on twitter and in TV studios around the UK for long enough now. He's living proof that if you refuse to give up on your dream, somehow, some way, you'll get your moment in the sun. Just hope he seizes the moment. It's not like these world title shots come round very often is it...

Re: Paul smith word title
The waster hasn't made super middleweight for over two years.
When he has been in the studio with Sky Darren Barker who hasn't boxed for over three years look in significantly better shape.
Paul Smith is everything that is wrong with boxing. Has never had a win above British level and his best win as a pro was nearly four years ago. Yet he feels entitled to a world title fight. If he fought at British level or European and got wins I would not mind but he just fights journeymen keeping busy and waiting for the call he feels he deserves.
