Currently Boxrec shows the referee for Pazienza vs Haugen I on 1987-06-07 as "Wally Smith". His name links to a record that shows no other fights. Video research shows ring announcer Frank Carpano announcing him as Wally Schmidt. Newspaper accounts show it to be Waldemar Schmidt from Puerto Rico. The correct referee should be Waldemar Schmidt.
