Should they (Lomachenko, M.Garcia, Crawford and Usyk) stay....?

Post by ValMar »

...And clean out their respective divisions or move up ?
Honestly, I feel they are capable to become undisputed champions (130, 135, 140 and 200) soon.
Should they try to move up ? What do you think about ?

I think they should stay. Fighters now days, win 1 belt, and move up. trying to become multiple weight champions. I think we need more unification fights. and not number 1 vs. number 2 for vacated titles.

Just like Spence said he wants to take it from a champion and not claim a vacated title.

I've always been of the opinion of clean out your division then look up for the next challenge

Lomachenko and Mikey should stay at their divisions. They're in some talented divisions; although, in Mikey's case, I think he might be too small for 140 lbs. 135 lbs. isn't the most talented currently, but 130 is red-hot. If you have more fighters moving up from 130 lbs., Mikey would be in a very talented division.

Crawford is in a terrible division currently. He should move up to the red-hot welterweight division.

Usyk should move up because heavyweight is just more glamorous, and I think he cleans house if he does move up. I think he should fight Gassiev then move up.

I like Gassiev but I see him behind Glowacki, Huck & Breidis! So there's plenty for Usyk out there!

I am sure Usyk is better than any mentioned CW fighter. The real question is : "Is Usyk capable to beat Joshua"..........

Yeah there is no reason for them to move, except for Crawford

Crawford is the closest to cleaning out his division. If he faces the winner of Indongo-Burns and becomes the undisputed at Super-Lightweight, then he should move to Welterweight. There is literally nothing left at 140 for Crawford apart from unifying those belts, and maybe someone like Orozco.

Usyk is the only one I'd suggest should move up ASAP.

Lomachenko - Jason Sosa, Gervonta Davis, Jezreel Corrales, These guys are still solid challenges even for talent like Lomachenko. Plus collecting all belts will be interresting. Also rematch witch Salido is there.
Crawford - like someone wrote, he is in terrible division. Match with Felix Diaz is interresting, but there are literally no challenges at 140 lbs right now. Taking out Julius Indongo is possibility. Otherways, he should move to welterweight.
Garcia - Linares, Barthelemy, Easter, Flanagan, Commey, Shafikov, Bey, Verdejo, Fortuna, Gamboa. This division is very interresting he can fight there until retirement :-). He can also move down, considering he was a 126 punder.
Usyk - Huck, Breidis, Gassiev, Dorticos, Lebedev. Come on, lets make cruiserweight division interresting.

I dont understand why everyone want from boxer to move up in weight. Weightclasses is here for reason (even there are bit many of them but still :) )
