9-1 Briedis for me. Huck doesn't seem to have any answers. German commentators compared it to Klitschko's performance v Fury.

Huck won the last round but far too late. 10-2 Briedis.

Briedis 11-1 if I am honest. I expect 4 points win from judges for the Latvian.

Shite fight but sometimes they are enjoyable because of the one punch expectation

Very surprising fight... by how unexciting it was. The right result though. I hope Briedis gets some good fights as champion!

Was there a deduction or knockdown? Somehow I missed where the -1 on each of the cards came from...

I never gave Huck a round, 120-109, gave him a share of the 9th, wasn't the barnstormer I thought it would be, Briedis dominated without really getting out of 1st gear himself but it was still a great performance, he's quite nimble for a Cruiser, i'd describe him as more a boxer than puncher despite the big KO%, his jab won it for me, Huck struggled to get away from it and Briedis befuddled him it times with it, it was a messy fight with no inside fighting and was surprised we made it to the end without a bad cut, Huck looks done, he cant pull the trigger anymore and when he did it telegraphed a mile off, Briedis got in some nice right hand as well, always the sharper and boxed a clever fight

I think Usyk is the best at CW, but in my opinion Brieids dominating Huck is up there with Usyk's win over Glowacki. Like HOS, I couldn't give Huck a round.

Huck has always had terrible technique, and Breidis exploited that. I think that was the story there, I don't think Huck is shot, it's just if you keep on your toes and occupy him with the jab, to stop him closing the distance, he has no plan B.

Good post, basic blueprint - I'm wondering why this hasn't been exploited before (missed his loss v Glowacki) hand picked opponents? power vs power

I think the fact Breidis was a big puncher probably also was a factor, Huck knew he coudln't just rush him.
