I feel like Usyk and Briedis are currently the #1 and #2 Cruiserweights.

I think that Usyk will handle him but Briedis showed decent skills tonight.

Maybe. I think that he should be favored over Briedis but I think that Usyk could get a decision.

Yes, both Usyk and Gassiev haven't been tested against somebody as good as they are, so both have chances. I just was surprised with the talk about lineal title not including Gassiev.

Usyk is probably the best boxer(p4p) right now. I am waiting for him to move up and face Joshua, Wilder and Ortiz.....And Tyson Fury, of course...

Gassiev was tested pretty severely by Lebedev.

Yes, but Lebedev may not be in his prime anymore. Usyk is.

I thought Gassiev clearly defeated Lebedev, and even in his current condition Lebedev is better than Usyk's best win.

I consider Briedis' resume better than Gassiev.

Briedis (not a large Cruiserweight) KTFO a much taller heavyweight Manuel Charr,
TKOd Durodola (who KTFO Dima the Wonderboy of Kudryashov)
And now beat Huck, who to this day was still considered a top 5 Cruiserweight. And he did it in Germany too.

Gassiev's only good win is against a 37 year old Lebedev (14 years older than Murat) and even that was a close fight.

Gassiev is a good young fighter, but Briedis I think deserves the #2 Cruiserweight position more.

Yep, Briedis is #2 for me as well. I also think he'd beat Lebedev more comfortably than Gassiev did..

Usyk soundly beat Glowacki.. i was bit disapointed with Gassiev against Lebedev. He could have won unanimously but he gave rounds away..

Gassiev can punch, and that's it. If he lands properly, everything is possible, but Usyk is much more skillful.
