Monishipour's lost!

Post by jomothepure »

:o Fecking hell.

I've been trying to hold myself back for a few weeks now trying not to say anything about the shit opponent and his bloated record, incomplete records or not.

But dang, I'd take it back now. TKO in 10. Sounds like a cracking fight. Hope to see it soon.

Good read this http://www.boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41227

Something makes me think that the new champ will be defending in his homeland for a while.

How is Hunter rated by the WBA ???

Would Hunter travel to thailand ???

He's 11th by WBC , 7th by the IBF and unranked by the WBA and WBO .

I have only seen Monshipour a couple of times but he looked good, against Nakazato he took a few more than he had too and was slightly wobbled once maybe twice, looks like his all action style finally cost him.

This was a war. These guys stood toe to toe for most of the fight. The Thai was the stronger puncher of the two and much better defensively. As the rounds passed just got the feeling it would be only a matter of time before Monshipour was stopped. He put in a gallant effort.
