Joshua-Klitschko Betting Odds

Post by Enlightened-One »

In terms of the betting odds for the Joshua-Klitschko fight, 'NetBet' rate AJ as being 72.7% certain (3/8) to defeat Wladimir, with the Ukraine underdog having an implied probability of just 33.3% (2/1) with other betting websites to emerge victorious.

Just to place some context on these numbers should you fancy placing a bet on the Joshua-Klitschko fight…

If you placed a £10 bet with 'NetBet' on Joshua to defeat Klitschko you’d only make £3.77 profit. Place precisely the same bet on his opponent and you’d potentially profit by £20.

That should tell you how much the mainstream casual fight fans rate Dr Steelhammer’s chances of defeating Anthony Joshua! :o

Ladbrokes

AJ - 2/5

Wlad - 2/1

There not right every time but are right more than they're wrong, the bookies in general

Actually, I wouldn't call bookies casuals. They usually do their research since so much money is on the line. You also have to take into fact robberies. Also, Klitschko looked horrendous against Fury, but it depends on how you measure that loss. Some would either say Klitschko is severely old and past prime or that Fury was just that good. Who knows, but I do favor Klitschko.

I agree, generally speaking the bookies are the go too guys to guide how a fight will probably go.

Which is why I have to respect spence, as he's favourite vs Kell. Though it's close evens to 5/6. That's an English bookie as well

British bookies have a decent prediction success rate. More accurate than boxing press, from my experience.
