Golovkin is injured

Post by boxing_rocks »

http://www.boxingnews24.com/2017/04/gol ... rs-update/

I already mentioned in another thread that Golovkin wasn't committing into his right hand in the second half of the Jacobs fight, so that is likely what is injured. Also, immediately after the fight Loefler was saying that next week they evaluate if Gennady could fight in June. Hopefully, he can fight in July.

I love it when people make articles and in forums start threads on rumors, with no idea if it is even remotely true.

Golovkin wants all the belts and I don't think he's afraid of Billy Joe. Also, there is no guarantee that Canelo is going to defeat Chavez Jr.

It's hard to tell what injury carries Gennady; he did use the right uppercut with good effect in the 8th and 9th.

His team should come clean about it though.

It could be some type of fabricated rumour from GGG's team to give him more time to relax and recover but who knows. To me, G looked healthy against Jacobs.

Did you forget that I already commented on this injury rumour on a different thread yesterday, coupled with the suggestion that some “might believe that this is a stalling tactic by Golovkin and his team to give them more time to negotiate a fight against Saul Canelo Alvarez”, but you attacked me for this saying these things.

So you attack me for quoting these words verbatim, yet it's alright for you supply a link to pretty much the same article the day after, reporting the same claims? How does that work?

Only an imbecile would fail to recognise that my complaint relates to your hypocrisy and the application of double-standards, rather than the sequence of events.

If I submit a post making a couple of innocuous claims, you tend to feign outrage about my hideously-unacceptable comments, but in your mind there’s a deep sense of nobility and integrity whenever you say the very same things.

Please swear again, your kind-hearted sentiments are always appreciated!

By the way, according to Abel Sanchez, the rumour about GGG being injured is false. He's OK.

The Ring website are speculating that Golovkin and Tom Loeffler are waiting for the outcome of the Chavez Jr.-Canelo bout before deciding whether to take the Saunders fight.

The implication of this is the likelihood of the lure of the big money fight taking precedence over any ambitions of unifying the division, which clearly contradicts the claims of many of his fans.

I think they hope that Chavez Jr is gonna win and have the fight at 168, of course with no titles on the line. :OhYes:
