Hearn - Warren Show

Post by MPBOXING »

After reading a thread about them a few minutes ago, it got me thinking about what would happen if there was a card dedicated to the two promoters doing battle.

Maybe something like this (off the top of my head)

Warrington vs. Selby
Butler vs. McDonnell
Tete vs. Yafai
Skeete vs. Eggington 2
Langford vs. Murray
Catterall vs. Davies
Smith vs. Brook
Flanagan vs. Crolla
T Fury vs. Joshua

Some tasty match-ups there

Tyson is still promoted by Hennessy isn't he?

He's not had a fight since Wlad and that was on Sky, meaning what, his last fight which had any association with Warren was a BN fight against Hammer over two years ago?

He is, but I was struggling to finish it off with a main event :OhYes:

I know he's worked with Warren before so I thought I'd try and sneak it in

Good point

Wanted to keep the fights as close to 50-50 as I could though

The only way it would happen if there is too much money in a fight for it not to happen. Depending on the promotional arrangement of Fury. The only fight in which is on that scale at the moment is Fury / Joshua.

AJ v Hughie Fury
Buglioni v Yarde
Eggington v skeete 2
Ohara Davies v Tyrone Nurse
Crolla v Flanagan
Stephen smith v Liam Walsh
Scott Quigg v Josh Warrington
McDonnell v Tete

Just going down weights picking guys at a similar level

Probably missed some out.

Well technically not promote by anyone because he is not and probably won't fight again

Get your point though :TU: I don't think he ever signed a promotional agreement with FW like Hughie Fury did.

Warren worked with him to get a mandatory then Hennessy did the deal with K2 for the Wlad fight.
