Tim had 33 amateur fights for only the one loss - to Olympian Daniel Lewis.
He has an uncanny resemblance to his father Kostya, but is significantly taller and about 10 kilograms heavier. Tim will debut at junior middleweight.

Tim Tszyu made it 3 from 3 when he stopped Ben Nelson 2-3 in round 3 in Sydney last night.
Tim is scheduled to box on the undercard of the Joseph Parker vs Hughie Fury fight in NZ on May 6.
