CPU Middleweight Title

Post by Fist of Legend »

Computer Pugilists' Unite

I figured I should probably make a thread for the cpu title, so here it is :TU:

hopefully you all are enjoying this new addition to our game, I decided to do it as sort of a talent scouting thing because of there being so many great fighters this season it seemed silly to let them sit on the sidelines. remember all CPU champions are available for recruitment.

Current Champion
HOLMAN WILLIAMS (17-8-7 4 KO'S)

I wouldn't mind seeing a Nigel Benn vs Tony Zale fight.

Maybe a Steve Collins vs Rocky Graziano bout as well.

And would James Toney be afraid to face Sergio Gabriel Martinez?

I'm curious to know now that these match ups have happened, were you satisfied with the fights and their results?

Yes, very satisfied. It was great to see a good win for Collins (one of my fav fighters ever) and Martinez did well to beat Toney. And the Zale vs Benn matchup proved a surprising result in my book.
But thanks for doing that.

with his last two performances it's fair to say that Mike O'Dowd has earned his chance to fight for the CPU title on the next card.

so the CPU title is proving to be a tough belt to keep...there has been 13 different holders and 2 of them have done it twice(Flowers and Darcy) and nobody has managed to defend the title more than twice before losing it.

With a win Roy Jones would be the only fighter of the season to have won both a World Title while under management, and a CPU Title while not under management.

And I make him the favorite in this matchup too.

Actually Hagler and Burley also completed this feat even before Jones, and now you can add Holman Williams to this list aswell
