Fury beat THE MAN, in Germany.... If he never fights again, history will judge him kindly.
The way THE MAN fought that night fckin audley harrison would of beat him
No he wouldn't. You're all going to have to live with the fact you can't change the result. As you're a scouser, I expect you'll find that virtually impossible.

I agree with the Germany bit no worries about that, you cant knock Fury for winning the world title. How history would judge him, im not sure. But I would think history would judge it as

Bentt v Morrison
Bruno v McCall

2 fights that were great in their own way but can be lost in historys vault.
Neither Morrison or McCall are anything like Wlad.

and look what happened :TU: :TU: :TU: :TU:

before the fight klitschko was going to KO him badly, after the fight audley harrison would of beaten him

Im not suggesting that what im saying is that what is history saying about Bentt v Morrison and Bruno v McCall now? What im trying to say is that the Fury v Klit fight while fantastic for Fury proberly will not be talked about in 20 years time.

whats with people saying i've compared tyson to any greats from the past    where in my posts does it say that?

fury & his team have said himself he gives the best performances when he boxes the best opponents, and cunningham was more of a flash knockdown than anything, and didn't even trouble fury. still got the win though didn't he? tyson showed us what he IS capable of the night he boxed klitschko and his boxing skills are better than any current HW, its plain to see that, and he moves very well for a man of his size.

it must get aggravating for you people to always call fury sh*t and useless and can't box and then nobody takes his 0

agree with what you like, but bet you said tyson was a fat no hoper who klitschko would spark out in 4 rounds or something like that

and that didn't happen, and now you reckon harrison would've done klitschko that night

It was a good achievement by fury but it was one of the worst world title fights of recent years, more so given what was on the line. History will note the win but it will struggle to find any highlights of the 12 rounds, it was a shocker.

i wouldln't disagree with you that the fight itself wasn't an all time classic, you're right

i just think its hilarious that suddenly "harrison would've beaten klitschko" that night when beforehand it was probably "pikey going to get sparked"

shows how fickle alot of boxing fans are.

i quite enjoyed the fight meself, but i'm not for a minute saying it was one of the great bouts lol. just the result, most said tyson was done for and he didn't get anything near beat and now they've changed their tune about why that is. hilarious

Erm i think u will find i had fury winning the first fight from the moment it was made,i had klitschko beating fury soundly in the rematch and fury knew this would happen and thats why he left boxing for 2 years. Imo klitschko didnt box the way he usually boxes in the fury fight,i was chuffed when fury beat klitschko and over a few years i have grown to like fury but i would never put him in a the category of Ali, Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis or Riddick Bowe, fury had the world at his feet and dropped them titles like a hot potatoe

fair enough your an exception then, but most, had tyson getting KOed. klitschko didn't box the way he usually boxes no, but i had that down to the fact he didn't know what to do with tyson, tyson frustrated him and nullified his attacks made him unsure of what to do and he definitely couldln;'t time tyson in any way.

i never put him in the category of anybody either, i said that a earlier on, and only tyson knows why he dropped them betls. its easy to say he was frightened and call the fury's liars but i do think theres more to it than that. i think he will come back and i think he will prove how well he can box on a regular basis and if he doesn't come back, in fairness he's reached the point he wanted to reach. i'd like to see him come back though and fight definitely

You gave him elite attributes forgetting he's looked like an oaf most of his boxing career, a few erratic head movements doesn't change that. He's never been particularly difficult to hit so I'm not sure where this master boxer myth comes from. Cunningham was out jabbing and out boxing him at range throughout the fight despite the height and reach deficit and Fury used illegal tactics to get the win - nothing to be proud of there and if I was a fan I wouldn't be bringing that fight up.

We'll likely get some more context on the Wlad win after the Joshua fight, we already have an indication going off the Jennings bout where he looked clueless, old and gun shy against a short, light hitting opponent who had little to offer. May have been an off night, may have been there for the taking. We'll know more shortly despite Joshua being very one dimensional.

Oh and he took his own 0 by effectively retiring after getting caught juicing and ballooning in weight. KO'd by the handle on his fridge door.

tyson displayed more than a few erratic head movements in the klitschko fight  cunningham was having decent moments in the fight yes, but when it briefly went wrong for fury he recovered even quicker than it happened. i didn't bring that fight up you did.

yes klitschko didn't look great in the jennings fight either, i'm not saying that there isn't a chance klitschko was on the slide, my main point is that regardless of how he looked in the jennings fight, the majority still said klitschko would muller tyson, and that didn't happen. no one really said before the fight "i think klitschko's on the slide now, fury will win" a few did yes, but not the majority, it was all negative for tyson, so the main thing i'm getting at is whether he was on the slide or not fury was still given little to no chance.

and i agree about joshua being one dimensional, i don't particularly rate joshua highly at all

No he wouldn't. You're all going to have to live with the fact you can't change the result. As you're a scouser, I expect you'll find that virtually impossible.
If geography is too big a word for you it means do you know areas? Cause im not a scouser im from the wirral which is not liverpool,i have the accent but not from there sorry pal and lets not turn this into manchester vs liverpool cause i have supported john and joe murray ricky hatton jamie moore michael gomez michael brodie anthony crolla etc etc so kets not say uts cause of were i am from and were fury is from cause thats not true,i also support all the liverpool boxers,i dislike tony bellew sometimes with some of the things he says but still im absolutley chuffed he has done what he set out to do in this sport and thats secure him and his families future. I also cant stand paul smith but i used to support till i seen some of the sh1te he used to put on facebook and twitter as if he is the encyclopedia of boxing.

All opinions like iv said and in my opinion this is what would happen
Did Ali look great when he was so heavilly dropped his corner needed to use illegal tactics to keep him fighting, before winning on cuts all against a sub 13 stone trainerless Henry Cooper?
Cmon pal why are idiots on hefe comparing tyson fckin fury to the great ali? Get ur head out ur asses he aint NO ALI
Becuase Ali Vs Cooper, and Fury Vs Cunningham are very comparible, and when Ali is so great it shows why that argument is weak.

Boxing fans are no doubt very fickle...... I remember at the time McCory gave Fury round 12 as, coming in to the last, he had the two dead level. There is no way Fury won that last round.

Similarly for Heulenus vs Chisora - the commentary team in that fight I believe either had the fight a draw or Helenius by a round.

Then - in both cases the decision gets announced.... for the Fury fight NONE of the sky PPV declare that the fight was close again (including McCory!) and with the Chisora fight all of the pundits start shouting robbery and worst decision ever.... even those who fecking scored it to Helenius before the fight was called.

For me - I agree that Chisora beat Helenius - although the fight was closer than people think and far from the "worst decision ever".... the more I watch Klitchsko vs Fury (I have trouble sleeping), the more and more I think it is a lot closer than History seems to be pointing towards. It was really a case of can't fight (Klitchsko) vs won't fight (Fury)..... Had Klitchsko had his arm raised, yeah sure it was very close and Fury probably edged it, but I have seen far bigger robberies.... particularly if you use the analogy of the home "champion".

There are two ways of looking at the Fury Wlad fight. People who like Fury tend to focus on the result - he went away from home and did the job against an elite level, long term champion in an upset win. People who don't like Fury tend to focus on the performance, the lack of punches thrown, the very low amount landed, the lack of action.

Where the jealousy comes in is that Fury is obviously such a poorly regarded character that the reaction to the win seems overly harsh. Haye became a bit of a hero when he went away and scored a low-action, points result against Valuev, (clearly a weaker opponent than Wlad.) Fury does the same and becomes a laughing stock.

I can see both sides, but I don't think results are the be all and end all.
