Great boxing day for Japan's undefeateds in 2017.

Post by imaioral »

On this day (05/20) will surely be the best in terms of quality matches for belts in Japan in 2017. Events with many good boxing matches testing at least 4 great undefeated Japan's boxers. :bag:

Juan Hernandez Navarrete vs Daigo Higa
Ganigan Lopez vs Ken Shiro
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam vs Ryota Murata

And all those bouts (and the world title bouts the following day) are all on free to air....

My call is that NDam knocks Murata out.

For an Olympic gold medalist his match making looks really poor to me and gives the impression he is very suspect defensively.

If Murata does KO NDam that is a statement win though.

I've heard of the other two fighters on that card not seen either one fight. I love how in Japan if a young ighter is ready they put them in at decent level and even ensure they have fought at domestic and regional level beforehand. The complete opposite happens in the UK.

Is this Acosta who Tanaka is fighting any good ? I thought Tanaka looked sensational in his last fight has maturity way beyond his young age. Potentially in a few weeks every single light flyweight belt holder could be Japanese.

Hope they get unifying on NYE :bag: :bag:
