He's been a lucky boy on a couple of occasions against 'journeyman'. The inevitable KO defeat doesn't look far away.
Good ticket seller though.

What has being hard got to do with anything? Im not a hard man I'm just a big bathroom fitter from Greenock
I was born in Greenock and grew up in Port Glasgow.
Moved to Canada when I was 18. Small World... :TU:
Mate of mine stays in the Port. I'm originally from Paisley but have stayed here for a few years. My Mrs is from Gourock.

Have you ever bumped in to Andrew Kearney in Canadia :maybe:

Most domestic opposition?

Not fought:

Tyson Fury
Dereck Chisora
David Price
David Haye
Tony Bellew
Hughie Fury
David Allen
Sam Sexton
Nathan Gorman
John McDermott

Fought:

Dillian Whyte
Michael Sprott
Matt Skelton
Gary Cornish
Dorian Darch
Paul Butlin
Matt Legg
Not sure what point you're making. Perhaps I should have clarified and said 'most domestic opposition who he could realistically be matched with,' given there is no point suggesting that he should fight the likes of Gorman, McDermott and Sexton.

Fury cannot be considered an active boxer anymore either.

Sorry, never bumped into your friend, Canada's a big place...
When I was growing up, Gourock was a much nicer place than Greenock or the Port so you probably lucked out getting a Mrs from there :salut:

I'm not sure what point that you were trying to make.

Dereck Chisora, David Price, David Haye etc. were all "unrealistic" matchups?

Of all the decent level domestic heavyweights: he's fought Dillian Whyte.

Hardly cleaning house is it?

Why would you even mention the domestic scene like it's something that he's conquered?

:D Nothing horse! Absolutely nothing. Someone made a statement about Joshua fighting everyone on the domestic scene. You pointed out that's not the case. I agree with you. At the very most you were a little pedantic but yes you basically said what I was thinking regarding Joshua's record vs fellow British boxers.

:TU:

It won't really matter if he beats Klitschko, but why state that he's beaten almost everyone on the domestic scene?

Khan didn't clear house at domestic level, but it didn't really matter because he stepped up to world level and did well.

It's increasingly like I'm posting in the Twilight Zone on here, people have gone mental.

Yeah she's alright sometimes I suppose lol. She moved to Newcastle quite young so had a west of Scotland/Geordie accent

If I ever manage to get enough money together I'd like to move to Gourock. I take the kids there at the weekends and I always feel at home there.

Splitting hairs a bit with that list Horse.
Not really when someone is claiming that AJ has cleaned up the domestic scene..overall, the names on the first list are clearly better than the names on the second, and guys like Legg, Butlin, and Darch arent even British level, while Sprott and Skelton were clearly nearing the end.

Look at the list. The only two that stand out are the Fury's possibly Chisora after his last performance. Tyson doesn't know if he's coming or going and Hughie has Parker to deal with. The rest of the list is just nonsense man. McDermott? Bellew? Gorman is a good little fighter but is just starting out. Price is shot to bits and Sexton isn't relevant. Allen is making his way and has rightly went back to the drawing board. AJ is fighting Wlad next. If he loses that (which is a possibility) then some of they names come in to play.

I saw the list, and AJ clearly didnt clean up the domestic scene, even if he's past that level now (I think he's the best in the world).

You say Price is shot, but what were guys like Skelton and Sprott? Sure, Bellew probably isnt a top HW, but he's Joe Louis compared to area level (or worse) fighters like Butlin, Darch, and Legg, and even an off form Chisora would likely maul Cornish.

Joshua is more talented than Haye?
I'm sorry for the verbals earlier mate. I was just taking the piss. Truth be told, you get on my nerves at times but I respect your opinion (sometimes) and you're a good poster. Nothing personal :TU:

I know, I know. McDermott was just a name on a list which was proving that Joshua had not beaten 'most' at domestic level. I enjoyed the little argument but I did start feeling sorry for horse as he had just pointed out an inaccurate statement.

To be fair, it was probably only a throw away line to start with but we all know you can't get away with that here. :shame:

Having started this, I think the point I was trying to make was that Joshua was way above domestic level - which he obviously is. If he stops Klitschko convincingly then he's clearly better than everyone who could fit into the domestic bracket.

Either way, good to see Horse still being hilarious!

Scotty cardle for me, one of the most over rated fighters in matchroom stable (still better than Paul Smith :TU: )
